About
MatchScope Camera is the phone-camera component of the MatchScope match analysis system. It turns iPhones into synchronised match cameras that stream to the MatchScope bridge running on your Mac.
The app finds the bridge by itself on the same Wi-Fi network — there is no address to type in. Pick the phone's job from the on-screen menu (Left / Centre / Right / Identity); the system stops two phones taking the same job.
Set the measurement zoom once during setup. When streaming starts the zoom and the lens are locked, so iOS cannot switch lenses mid-match and break your calibration — a detail that matters for measurement accuracy.
The status strip always shows what is really happening: encoder resolution and frame rate, temperature, battery and connection health. If the stream drops, the app reconnects on its own.
REQUIREMENTS
MatchScope desktop software running on the same network. Without a bridge the app opens in Demo mode, so you can see how it works before setting up a match.
iOS 16.4 or later. A device that can capture 4K30 is recommended.
