Better off buying the physical calculator instead

The physical calculator is $28 one time, this is $30 every year! Absolutely ridiculous.

They took away my one time purchase to make me pay monthly

I bought this app years ago, and before that I bought their calculators. Now they took away my one time purchase so that to keep using it I’d have to pay monthly. They won’t see a dime from me ever again. The greed and dishonesty of companies today astounds me.

Simple. Easy to use

Material calculator has a clean easy face. It is easy to use and read. We have been using material calculator for over 12 years for our landscaping. I like that I can convert cubic feet to cubic yards and vice a versa and convert gallons to cubic measurement

Bad App

Well had it for about 20 seconds and then a pop-up that wants me to purchase a trial and it won’t let you do anything but that. DELETE!!!!

Forces you to subscribe, to 7-day free trial.

Waste of time.

Limited Options

The app isn’t bad, it just doesn’t do as much as I thought it would. And, although the price is low, I still find it idiotic to pay a subscription for this type of app. If I purchased the real physical calculator, it wouldn’t even need a subscription.
I already use another app that allows me to do a lot more than this one and for a one time payment.

Thank you for your feedback. There are features in the App that you cannot find on a calculator, but we are glad you have options. Thank you for looking, appreciate your perspectives.

Free to try just give us your credit card info first

Typical scummy business tactic. You can have our services for free I promise, just put your credit card number in so we can start charging you next week without you knowing.

Dear Sir, Free Trial is an option when your app is free to download and comes with in-app purchases. The market clearly indicates and can be clearly seen in App Store app where you found our app along with many others. Our product page clearly indicates what you can expect during and after the free trial period.

Great

Great job on this app

Buy the real thing

Looks like I’m better off buying a real material estimator calculator from Home Depot or Lowe’s and forget the monthly payment. If it last a year, it would be cheaper than this app.

I’m not buying a subscription for a calculator

I already have to manage with other subscription services for Netflix, YouTube or something that I use daily. Not even having the choice to purchase the app once and immediately given the option for a subscription for a calculator of all things is stupid. I would rather just buy the physical calculator. And don’t tell me it’s to keep the app up to date cause my calculator can’t update

5 to 2

The old version was so much better. This new update I was forced to have started today. I like the old layout much better. More screen area and buttons were larger. Bad update.

Thank for the feedback. Give the full screen mode a look (icon to right of menu) and see if that helps you. Thanks!

Free trial only starts after you choose a subscription

Buy the physical calculator in a store for $30 or pay a $30 yearly subscription to use it on your phone. Come on developers, this is just silly.

Best construction apps out there

Calculated Industries has the best construction calculators on the market. I’ve had their actual calculator for years (before smartphones), and got the app for convenience sake. Same experience with app as with the calculator. Customer service is top notch as well. They won’t leave you hanging if you have a problem.

Not ok

Downloaded the app which had no charge and within seconds was billed 15.99 for the download. Now I have to canx my debit card. If it costs say so upfront don’t charge on the sly. I was hoping to use it for my business not now.

It’s not free

Don’t waste your time downloading it because you can’t even open it without paying.
what a slick way to get more downloads

Terrible

You have to pick a subscription before you can do ANYTHING on the app. You can’t even check it out or look around. Marketing like this is a very poor decision.
