Not an Educational Game
It’s a fun game in so far as addictive RPGs go, but you don’t really learn any math. You’re forced to make split-second decisions and choose A,B, or C based on likelihood. So for instance (23+4)x5= a)118 b)135 c)127
You get about 0.3 seconds to answer this. Naturally, you know that anything times 5 is going to end in a five or a zero, so you pick B.
Then you grind this over and over again, except that isn’t all multiples of 5. You’re not even looking for precise answers half the time, just shortcuts that work with the multiple choice.
Worst part is it isn’t even leveled in an educational way. If it were like learning tables where Level 1 is all about adding ones and 2s at increasingly faster pace, then three, then four, then subtract, it would be awesome. Instead the numbers and the operations start randomly and the timer is killer. You will only get through by getting power ups, which for some people means spending hours grinding away and for others it means spending hours AND money. Clever little casino where the house always wins.
If this truly were a casino, K I’m the equivalent of a professional poker player. I’m good. I’m fast. But I know that no matter who you are this game is rigged in favor the house and newbies, especially kids, who want to improve their math will mot learn much here.
Beyond failing to follow any of the science behind creating an effective educational math challenge, it doesn’t even provide mental mag strategies. A truly educational game is meant to encourage mastery. This game instead literally profits from defeat.

Like the game so far and think it will be great for my kids… aside from the fact that after I beat the boss in the library it asks for a review and then promptly freezes forcing me do that battle over and over without ever saying the area is complete.

Was fun but can’t click the collect button on iPad Pro
After beating the librarian (intro ‘boss’) I can’t progress any further. The giant collect button does not react to my clicks, restarting the game, your scrolls are consumed but you don’t get credit for the fight the only option is to redo the fight to which you will still not be able to click the collect button.

Je suis heureux de vous dire que ce jeu est plus intéressant que Tiktok, plus compliqué qu’Elden Ring, plus tragique que je ne le croyais. Quand j’ai appris que l’on pouvait jouer avec Henry, mon coeur n’a fait qu’un bond. J’ai vu ses yeux, sa tête, son corps, son appétit pour les pommes et j’ai compris qu’a partir de là mon amour n’irait que pour une personne: le maître des calculs.

This is one of the very few game that is actually game in Appstore. It doesn’t force you to buy anything in the store to enjoy the game. It’s fully capable of playing offline. It has minimal ads. Its design is simplistic but effective.
This game’s worth every 5 stars it got.
I can not stress enough how much better this app is than any other trash apps where you are plagued with offensive ads, intrusive micro transactions, and a lot of illegal thing that Apple allowed.

Sehr sinnvoll und macht auch Spaß
Neben Plus und minus geht es im dritten Level auch mit mal weiter. Auch ohne Geld kann hier das Kopfrechnen auf spielerischer Art und Weise gelernt werden. Es ist super, auch schon für unsere 7 jährige!

Spielidee und -umsetzung gut, aber man kann seine Einkäufe trotz angegeber Funktion nicht wiederherstellen (“Betrug”)!
