MoreMath Champ (Client) is an application that functions as a controller for a multiplayer math quiz game. It allows students to participate in real-time quizzes against their classmates, with questions delivered from a separate host application.
To play, you need this client app, at least one classmate, and the Math Champ HOST application (sold separately and iPad only). The HOST generates quizzes, and questions are sent to each client device in real-time for players to answer.
Math Champ (Client) is designed for classrooms with students in grades 4 to 7. The questions are based on common curricular standards for these age groups.
The description indicates that questions are sent to client devices in real-time as play unfolds, suggesting an active internet connection is required for the game to function and for real-time competition.
Math Champ (Client) is supported on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. However, the companion HOST application is iPad-only.
No, Math Champ (Client) does not contain advertisements. The app is free to download and use without interruptions from ads.
During the quiz, each correct answer earns players points. Bonus points are awarded for the fastest answers and for achieving streaks of five correct answers in a row. The leading scorer is declared the Math Champ at the end of each quiz.
The latest version of Math Champ (Client) is 2.0, last updated on July 14, 2017. This indicates a less frequent update schedule in recent years.
