About
Practice addition and subtraction facts using the strategies taught in homeschools and classrooms.
Instead of drilling random flash cards, children work on the specific thinking patterns behind the facts such as: doubles, making ten, ten friends, and thinking addition to solve subtraction.
STRATEGIES
Addition
• General Addition: mixed problems at your chosen difficulty
• Doubles Addition: 2+2, 3+3, 4+4
• Doubles +1: 2+3, 3+4, 4+5
• Make Five: pairs that sum to five
• Make Ten: pairs that sum to ten
• Zero Addition: adding zero to any number
Subtraction
• General Subtraction: mixed problems at your chosen difficulty
• Doubles Subtraction: using known doubles in reverse
• Ten Friend: finding the partner that makes ten
• Think Addition: solving subtraction by adding up
Skip Counting
• Fill in the missing number in a sequence counting by any step
GAMES
• Bubble Pop: pop the bubble with the correct answer before it floats away
• Frog Hop: skip-count along a number line and tap the pad the frog lands on
• Ten-Frame Fill: build the answer in a ten frame, then check it
• Card Compare: tap the card with the bigger sum, or equals if they match
COLLECT 72 CRITTERS
Every correct answer might turn up a new critter for the sticker album. Most are common, some are rare, and a few are legendary.
SEE THE MATH
Turn on a ten frame, a number line, or base ten blocks to make the numbers concrete. Optional hints highlight what to look for while a child is still building confidence.

• Multiple choice or type the answer
• Pick your own background color
• Settings are remembered between sessions
