Graphics issue with ‘ the number skills’

We love the ‘Teach Your Monster’ for reading but can’t get the number skills one working properly. Pages going blank, graphics not appearing properly. I keep checking to ensure I’ve updated the app but this does not seem to be the issue.

When I first got this game I had to pay a one off cost to play it which I loved. Now on top of that it is asking for me to sign up for a reoccurring subscription. It’s ridiculous.
