Got overly complicated...
This app used to be nice when it came out some yrs ago, it had an appealing straight forward intuitive feel to it. For some reason tho someone has changed the way it feels, into a clunky overly complex interface. Hence this version is difficult to set age ranges for younger children, lots of silly multiple choice options, and has just become very unappealing

I bought the apps but you still need pay more money if you want to remove the Ads on apps.
Apps itself is not cheap nearly $6.00. And he wants more money to remove Ads.

Good app, that is not to overwhelming for students. Love that you can save results for individual students making it great for progress monitoring. There are few more options I would like to see added. It would be great if teachers had the option to assign problems with and without regrouping. Also, instead of entering the whole sum from left to right, I would like to see the option for students to enter their answer digit by digit from right to left. Overall a nicely designed and very usefull app.

Needs a left handed option
Would like an option to switch the board for left handers please.
3 flaws
On 4 digit addition, the answer columns are not lined up when using the direct column input . They need to fix this. Secondly, if a student gets a wrong answer all their blackboard work is wiped out and they can not review their work to see where they made mistakes. If you are not multiple choice answer averse, and you don't mind having the blackboard work wiped clean when a wrong answer is submitted, then you might like this app. I personally think multiple choice answers are fine for test but not ideal for study work. The third flaw is that to input a column answer directly you have to use up or down arrows to get to the digit you want instead of having a method for direct entry.

Close to perfect
I had my daughter try this and she was annoyed by one thing: that you had to re-write the problem onto the chalk board before you could do your own working out. She wanted the problem to appear on the chalk board so she could work out and answer the problem right under it. Then when she figured it out, select the correct answer from the multiple choices to the left of the problem.
I think she may be onto something. I hope they do it. :)

This app is fun and educational, but does not respond well when writing the problems with your finger and is also quite hard to write with (which there isn't a lot of solutions to.) But I really think this app is worth getting. I'm thinking I'll get the full version.
