Don’t even download it does not work unless you pay them.

Y’all need to fix your camera all it does is blink it does absolutely nothing but you have to pay 6,000 dollars just to do a math equation.

Sorry to hear you are having problems getting MathCam to work. It should work fine with the 4 basic types of problems; with mean, mode & median problems and also simplifying numeric expressions. It doesn't work with handwritten problems and works better with larger font sizes or zoomed in screen. Some examples of the problems MathCam can solve are shown here: http://turtlebeachstudio.com/mathcam and you can see it in action on the App Store videos.

The app is not good at all when you show the problem you want it blinks for who knows how long and the app mistakes commas for decimals when it should know the difference for how long it takes to work

Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like the size of the math problem text you are trying to solve is too small. If it is on screen, try zooming the screen to make the text bigger. I just verified all the math problems shown in the image at http://turtlebeachstudio.com/mathcam and all were solved immediately, including the mean, mode, median problems containing commas and decimals.

I am literally just holding it and the solver takes so long to pop up. It just blinks

Does not work

This doesn’t work. Great idea though. It just scans and scans then you get an error saying it can’t do algebra (regardless of what you type in)

Hi Tattenbach - You are correct, MathCam was not designed to recognize handwritten layouts. It will sometimes work with handwritten layouts if it's really neat handwriting.

Works great as shown, just remember to allow access to camera.

Works great on my iPad and even better on my 6s. Not perfect but with decent lighting and a good problem, works almost instantly! I'm actually very impressed with the speed once you have a nicely lit typed out problem. The update also helps the visual aesthetic. Works well on printed problems, not really hand written.

It's ok

It's not the best app but it can do some of the simpler problems. When I tried it could do negatives though.

Can't do anything with this app unless you purchase the camera option. Don't bother downloading.

After you grant access to the camera, you can solve basic math problems as shown in the App Previews for free. A one time upgrade can then be purchased for unlimited use.
