Capable, irritating, abandoned
DO NOT BUY THIS! This does calculate math equations in probably the most frustrating way possible. In calculate mode you have to hit calculate every time you want an answer, which takes you to another screen and out of your flow. The app also hasn’t seen an update in over a year. The documentation both within the app and in the user guide is sparse, dry, dull, and incomplete which shouldn’t be the case for something this old and ‘mature’. It really feels like it has always been someone’s pet project they have all but abandoned at this point. It functions but the user experience is trash.

É porque eu uso o Maple (outro software de matemática) no meu pc. O Maple é mil vezes melhor (em termos de velocidade de cálculo e funcionalidade; não em termos de preço).
No mundo do iPad, é um campeão.
Comparado ao Maple, é muito fraco!
Pena que não existe uma versão (completa) do Maple para iPad!! Isso sim, seria um verdadeiro sucesso!
O que podemos esperar para o futuro??

Já que a desenvolvedora do Maple não faz uma versão para iPad (provavelmente por motivos financeiros); outras empresas farão esse trabalho, aproveitando essa (grande) demanda do mercado.
Este aplicativo é um exemplo disso.
Esperamos que apareça outro melhor (mais semelhante ao Maple).

Exceptional service
I purchased this app back when I was in middle schools. I am getting free offer to upgrade to this new model since the old version was not supported anymore. Other developers don’t give as much care to the customer. Thanks for this helpful piece of software!

Also prima Tool zum veranschaulichen mathematischer Probleme!

Superb programmable calculator
I use this on my iPad, iPhone and MacBook all the time. It's a fantastic application offering all the power one would expect from a high-end programmable graphics calculator in an efficient and inexpensive application. I'm a big fan.
Stable and powerful algrebraic calculator
This is one of the best.
Probably not for school work where you need something thats ok to use on standardized tests, but its great for a STEM techie or puzzle hobbyist who needs algebraic calculations, numeric sequences, matrices etc
I've bought lots, including HP calculator emulators, which have a painful UI and pixelated displays. A TI calculator emulator which I have to read the manual each time I pick up. Not to mention a bunch of Matlab and Mathematica work-alikes which are all unstable or delete your work if you press the wrong key.

Klasse CAS
PocketCAS ist eine wirklich leistungsstarke App und am iPad quasi einmalig. Sie läuft schnell und bietet einen großen Funktionsumfang. Negativ würde ich bewerten, dass die App nach einem Kauf nicht Cross-Plattform auch auf einem Mac verwendet werden kann, sondern erneut gekauft werden muss-besonders ärgerlich, da es keinen EDU-Rabatt oä. gibt. Zudem wirkt die App sehr aus „nativen“ iOS-Elementen zusammengebaut. Menüs kommen ohne Icons daher und die Maske zur Eingabe einer Matrix ist unintuitiv. Am besten einfach mal vorher die Lite-Version testen. Ansonsten ein tolles Produkt und ich bereue den Kauf nicht!

Best CAS for Apple devices with iCloud and even Handoff
I use an HP Prime Graphing Calculator and this app is the best alternative, or maybe even an upgrade, for its CAS function. They use the same kernel known as Xcas.
Though HP provides a completely free emulator for computers (25 bucks for iOS), it's frustrating to navigate through formulas in an 'exactly emulated' window with a 320*240 resolution. Besides, I'm happy to find this app supports more 3D graphing functionalities than HP Prime. Such as 3D parametric plots, lines, planes... and even animated plots!
I've also tried the app from Xcas website, only finding it's not updated and maintained for newer macOS versions for a long time. And to be honest, the original Xcas app is really hard to use.
An added bonus is that this app supports the Handoff function. It conveniently pops up on the dock of my Mac, and with just one click, I can seamlessly transition it onto my big screen.
Don't hesitate to get it! Totally worth the 50 bucks for all your Apple devices!

Great CAS
This is a very good program. XCas/GIAC on the ipad! The GIAC kernel looked up-to-date (9/2023), so the dev appear to be keeping it current. The 900 or so page manual written by the GIAC developers(?) Is excellent. The only problems i have had involve file I/O but that is because of the protected nature of ios sandboxing, not this program. There are ways to read and write files from the menus. I highly recommend it.

Sehr umfangreich und Intuitiv bedienbar
Die kann viel mehr, als ich jemals brauchen werde. Trotzdem gut zu wissen, das sie es kann. Alles perfekt, sogar auf dem IPhone 4s. Der Preis von 10 Euro ist mehr als angemessen. Schade, daß es keine PC-Version gibt.
NO LONGER WORKS on iOS 12.5
After the latest update, this app no longer runs on iOS 12.5. If the Devs don't want to support this version of iOS anymore, that's fine, but please don't push an update to my phone that no longer works on it!
Love it - but variables can't be added
Great calculus app. Use it all the time as well as in classroom (DSP). Now retired from teaching but still use it. The latest version on iPadPro 2 doesn't allow adding or editing your variables. Can still declare them inline as usual, but the handy feature when dealing with a set of similar graphs is greatly missed. Still a great app.

Great App
I bit difficult to learn, interface could be more rpolished and more functional, including such things as per-file numerical format, etc. Manual is very basic. Been referring to cascmd.pdf file available on the web for example. Not all features detailed in cascmd are implemented.
Otherwise very happy with this app and it gets the job done. Support was excellent when I needed it. Have not run into any real limitations with PocketCAS pro. Best math program for iOS imo. Similar to legacy MathCAD products in many ways. Use it just about every day for various tasks. Thank-you to developper(s).

Waste of Money
Very basic calculator that needs developing. A lot of developing if they want to charge $20. Free apps have better buttons and solutions. Graphing is very off when it comes to trig functions. I just wasted $20 because I was going off the stars.
Should include user interface manual
Just discovered that if you swipe up you go straight to system keyboard so you can type out the integrate() function instead of tapping tools->functions-> and scrolling down to find integrate. Would have appreciated if this life saving feature was mentioned somewhere.
