About

Matholotl is a joyful math learning app for kids ages 5–10 — starring Splashy, a curious cartoon axolotl who lives in a sun-dappled 3D pond world. Instead of drilling flashcards, Matholotl blends math practice into play: ADVENTURE MODE Steer Splashy around a hand-crafted 3D lake world. Splash past turtles, frogs, and ducks. Chase golden crawfish "Power Ups" for speed bursts, silver crawfish for jump powers, and bronze crawfish for a giant mode. Ride rainbows between lakes. Bounce off geysers. Every creature and hot spring greets your kid with a spoken math fact. ARCADE MODE Over 20 bite-sized mini-games covering counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, patterns, shapes, and more. Games adapt to your child's current skill tier, so 5-year-olds get 1+1 while 10-year-olds gets fractions and negative numbers. AXOLOTL FAMILY Unlock up to 5 axolotl friends by earning stars. Give each one a name, dress them in hats (crowns, wizard hats, space helmets, and more), pick their voice, and let your kid build his/her own little pet-collection story. TCG CARD COLLECTION Complete mini-games, and defeat boss-levels to earn card packs. Rip the packs and collect illustrated math- and axolotl-themed trading cards across a rotating series, each with rare "Full Art" variants — like a photo album your kid actually wants to fill. PARENT-FRIENDLY BY DESIGN • No ads. • No in-app purchases. • No subscriptions. • No account, no login, no data collection. • Everything stored locally on the device. • Parent settings behind a 2-second child-lock (adjust difficulty tier, reset progress, mute music). WHY MATHOLOTL? Because math learning shouldn't feel like homework. A kid who loves his/her axolotl companion and can't wait to rip the next card pack is a kid who keeps coming back to practice.
