Pathetic reading experience
More then 30% of the reading space is eaten up by advertisements and useless toolbars in the app. Some times the ads even cover up the news preview columns.
The app never refreshes the data on its own. Every page you navigate to, you have to click the refresh button to get the latest news.
The newspaper's web page offers slightly better reading experience than this, inflexible, fixed-to-landscape view, sub par quality app.

Half of the screen is taken up by ads. Long delay in loading page. Too cluttered. Deleted.
Doesn't work on new iPad
I don't know why publishers like Mathrubhumi who has been very innovative in Malayalam print & media ends up with such a crappy developers. I do remember their portal was a disaster once but they somehow managed to come through it - now comes an app that doesn't even show up when you launch.
