Handy, but wish it were a keyboard

This app does it all! The only problem is you only have access to the math and science characters within the app, and it's a little cumbersome to switch back and forth between this app and another app.

Is it possible to code this so that it is a keyboard that you can activate in Settings?

Good start

This is a good start, but needs more. The coffee cup and light bulb icons are a complete wast of space. Need subscript and superscript letters, such as n, r, and x!

Doesn't work

Waste of dl

It has a lot of potential

I'm a high school student taking calculus, and in have been looking everywhere for an app like this. It has a lot of potential, such as the number of functions it has available on the keyboards, the ability to save and email your work, and also the feature of naming your files for access later. However, it still needs more for the fifth star.
- Most importantly, make it so that you can solve the equations that you type out! Preferably also have work on how you solve it. This would really help out, especially with the complex equations that you can't do by hand. I know that I would pay for an app that does that.
- Also, in stead of making all of those keyboards, make a customizable keyboard or something. It is sometimes hard to find the specific one I want.
- Finally, I would make the options of numbering things, or bullet points. This would help out with things that are several complex steps, or when you need more than one problem or equation on a page like a homework assignment.
The app has a lot off potential, it just hasn't reached it yet. When you give the option of solving the equations I will give this a five star.

Missing symbol?

There doesn't seem to be a 'there exists' symbol (backwards capital E). Very difficult to work without it.

Good but…

There seem to be some important characters conspicuously missing. For example, I can't seem to find infinity. There are others too, but that's one important example.

Aside from that, this is pretty fantastic.

Promising

It's a GREAT editor tool for students with fine motor difficulties requiring AT. Even supports speak selection function of iOS6.
I hope the developer considers two items for improvement. 1st to support the integrated mic/Siri/speech to text function of the iPad and 2nd for the app to open standard file types especially true PDF. These would make the app more appealing to a wider educational population.

Simple equation editor

I wanted an app for creating maths equations I could load into maths tutorial videos and i books on my ipad. This fits the bill perfectly. I have only just loaded it on and had a little play with it, but it does everything I want.
I'm being very picky but it seems the default is to save the equation in .rtf format, however, it does copy and paste so lets me do what I want.
Thanks for a great app.

Well done

Very nice app for writing Maths.
Any plans to incorporate templates eg for writing rational expressions one on top of the other rather than using / for divisor?
Thanks

There is no infinity symbol. How can you have a mathematical keyboard without a limit key or infinity symbol?

No printing?!?

This app does not allow you to print, or copy from the app directly. I had to email it to myself, then forward it to my mom, and when she printed it out from her computer, the numbers were scrambled. I do not suggest getting this app if you want to print or copy/paste your work to another app or paper.

Needs improvement

The back space button closes the app. And its a little touchy. I'm a spinal cord injury so I have limited finger movement. This app could be really helpful to me and others for math in school or math anywhere. Hope to see an update this year.
