Build your profile with XP progression, daily streaks and a tougher Expert AI challenge. HOW TO PLAY Mattis is played in two distinct phases that test foresight and adaptability. PHASE 1 - COLLECTION • Each round, play one card from your hand. • The highest card wins and collects all cards on the table. • Collect wisely - those cards become your lifeline in the next phase. PHASE 2 - SHEDDING • Empty your hand before everyone else. • Follow suit and beat the previous card to shed yours. • The last player holding cards becomes the Mattis and loses. MASTERY & PROGRESSION • Earn XP after games and level up your Mattis profile. • Keep a daily streak with fair rolling streak reminders. • Share your profile progress with friends. • Challenge Expert AI when you want a stronger solo opponent. UNIQUE MECHANICS • WAR: Tie on a play? Enter a sudden-death battle where only the strongest takes the pile. • CHANCE: Out of good cards?
