Awful experience
This app is awful. I’ve already had to reinstall it once for not being able to save configuration changes for the profile.
Now I am unable to even use the discovery page & upon reinstalling the app, I can’t login as I get an error trying to send a code to my own number, saying it’s invalid.
Can’t use this app for 2 days without something breaking.

Scam
I downloaded this app and it worked for a day. I decided to try its premium features for a week as it was cheaper than its competitors and not only it didn’t work, i got no nothing premium unlocked but the app stopped showing me any matches as well. I contacted the customer support and it’s been more than 5 days and I haven’t heard back from them. Clearly the other so called 5 star reviews are bots.

Really enjoying using this app. The matches are thought through, I love that you aren’t overwhelmed by profiles and that you can have a mental health break. The brand partnerships are an ACTUAL game changer! I booked a hair appointment and got 20% through the app - it’s also super good as gives you loads of date ideas with a discount 🙌 highly recommend trying it out!

At first I thought maybe I wasn’t seeing anyone because of my location; but now I see reviews from people that live in London and it’s exactly the same for them. Three profiles a day given how little time and effort a lot of users put into their profiles is just not enough. Furthermore, I don’t like how I’m forced to message someone I like straight away; that just creates pressure and I’m either going to say something unnatural that I wouldn’t usually say or potentially waste my time on someone that didn’t deserve a message. The idea and the premise is there but the execution is poor, users have compared this to hinge and I would agree; the only thing that separates this from Hinge is that it seems like no one uses it! Right now you would be better off using a diff app or just not wasting your time.

Can’t get passed registration
The app still has bugs ! Unfortunately I can’t get passed the question on neurodivergent! I’ve rebooted but still the same problem!

smart app not another swipe app
I rarely leave reviews, but Mattr genuinely feels different. It’s smart, real, and refreshingly authentic. It’s the closest app I used that made matching dating feels natural again. No noise, no ego, just genuine connections that actually make sense.
No one in my area, or even near my area
I was really excited to hear that Mattr. had rolled out to my area as it had previously only been available to those in London. Now it has expanded…
…but it still keeps matching me with people in London. And not many users at that. I was hoping it would be the neurodivergent dating app. But it feels really small. I only had two users show up today - both far away :/

Only matches you with people in London, over 200 miles away. Despite setting up location settings correctly
People aren’t loading for me
Under the “Discover” category, where I assume people we could match/swipe with - users aren’t loading up. Tried installing, reinstalling. And it just keeps on failing to load with the “Mattr.” logo graphics just appearing & disappearing like a glitch and nothing happens…
It’s a shame as I got the DMs to say Mattr is available in my area and I rushed to create my account, but all yesterday it was just nothing 🙁
