It walks you through the key factors to consider like mobility, risk levels, and comfort, and then suggest options that makes sense for the client. I like how it simplifies what can sometimes feel like an overwhelming decision while still being rooted in clinical best practice. It’s easy to use, saves time you’d spend researching elsewhere, and helps make sure clients get the support they need for prevention of pressure injuries. Highly recommended for OT students!

This mattress app is great! The amount of knowledge available for clinical use and for curious learners is incredibly unique. It has diverse information ranging from case studies, to terminologies, quizzes, and even mattress recommendations! The UX is also carefully thought out to help the user navigate all of this information efficiently!

Very helpful!
This app was really great for my first clinical placement at a long term care facility. Without prior knowledge or experience working with individuals in this setting, I learned a lot about how to provide the appropriate supportive surface for different skin integrity needs through this app, and by connecting the concepts to seating systems (wheelchairs, cushions) and what I observed from my preceptor in practice! I gained a better understanding of an occupational therapist’s role in long term care – specifically, how to prevent skin breakdown due to inadequate pressure distribution and offloading of wounds. I found the study cases and quizzes very helpful, to test me on my knowledge and keep me engaged with the learning. Overall, this was a really great resource to have on placement and allowed me to learn so much as a student!
