Mawaqif Qatar

MAWAQIF was established in Qatar since 2011 as QDVP MAWAQIF in form of a joint venture between Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company(“QD”) and VINCI Park a worldwide parking leader (which became Indigo in November, 2015). In 2015, QD decided to restructure its shareholding and sold its shares to QDVC, a Qatari shareholding company with a vision to create a thriving local construction company of international repute. Having been incorporated under the Qatari laws since April 2007, QDVC stems from the association of Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company and France-based VINCI Construction Grands Projects. In 2017, QDVP becomes 100% subsidiary of QDVC evidencing its will to become a main car parking specialized company in Qatar. MAWAQIF means “Car Parks” in Arabic.
