Not worth the trouble
This app does not do anything except show your balance or give alerts on changes. You can’t even make payments or receive notifications of payment due. I have to go to my bank app to make payments. So if you’re looking for a fully fictional card app this isn’t for you.
Last app was way better
This app isn’t as close to the last one. This new one is horrible.
Easy to use
Max is working hard to make improvements, thank you. App easy to use.
Cannot add cards for joint holders
Please fix this issue. Max requires card swipes for achieve checking yet offers no protection from fraudulent charges.
Old app was so much better!
Not sure why they needed to upgrade the app. The previous version was so much better. With it, you could see transactions, get notified of all transactions, etc. While I love the bank, I wish MAX would do a focus group before rolling out apps or upgrade to apps. Just look at the reviews for this one…not a customer favorite for sure.

Worst app ever! Bad move MAX
I could not upload my MAX Visa (kept getting incorrect info entered (not the case). Local branch nor the MANY customer service numbers I called, could resolve the issue. Service tickets went unanswered. As directed, I deleted the app and profile to start over. Now I can no longer get into the system AT ALL. If you delete a card, you can no longer add it back unless you call for assistance…which no one gives you. WORST APP EVER and very BAD DECISION BY MAX!!!

Card manager
I agree with the previous review. I am totally dissatisfied with this app. The original card manager was more useful.
Terrible
Whoever wrote this app wasn’t thinking of the Customer. The old app was substantially better. This app is way too difficult to use and has no features that benefit its use.
Massive Downgrade
This app is a massive downgrade from the previous app, which was working just fine. You can’t make payments or see purchases (pending or posted) which defeats the purpose of the app. You can’t even see that information through the Max banking app either.
Terrible
Not as good as old app: can’t pay visa bill or keep up with purchases
