A great app

I use this App everyday many times!
BTW is there a way to delete a location that I saved by mistake or no longer required?

Best daylight app & more!

I have used many apps to track daylight hours but now exclusively use this one. It’s the best! The clean layout with so much information including moon phases, too, is great. The daily countdown to sunrise, noon and sunset is valuable, and all sorts of “nerdy” (but fun) graphs concerning sun and moon physics has actually taught me a lot. Highly recommended!

Outstanding app – so simple and so useful

For anyone who does anything outdoors that is slightly open, ended, such as a bike ride, a hike, or just going for a walk, this is so helpful and so easy to use. Thank you for all the effort inputting this together.

Thank you for your kind words. Please let your friends and colleagues know about our app!

Lots of info

That I probably don’t need. I just wanted the times for first light and last light for the day

Wow, great app!

I can say that I basically downloaded every daylight/sunlight app out there and this one is easily one of the top three and probably the most exhaustive one. Congrats and thank you.
It would be nice if you could make a few more widgets to keep track of all that information at a glance…

Response from developer

Thanks for your kind review. Please let us know what widgets you might like via our support email in the app under Settings.

Great for Astronomy Planning

I use this app in my astro observation planning. Solar and Lunar information very well laid out. Good presentation of graphs and tables.

Mr. Mykytyn is prompt with support and seems to care very much about his product.

Amazing!

I’ve been using this app for years and the 3.0 UI update made the app even more amazing! I highly recommend this app if you’re a photographer, astrophotographer, or just someone who likes the giant burning fireballs.

Steve has been constantly improving the app and has some great ideas in the pipeline. Thanks for building this incredible app.

Praise the sun!

Interface

Not a fan of the new interface. Love the data this app provides. It was all in one place, now it is spread out with duplications.

Response from developer

We're sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the new UI. Watch for version 3.0.2, we'll be making a few changes just for iPhone users that might make things easier for you. Check Options on the Settings panel when 3.0.2 is released. Please contact us at support@359north if you have specific suggestions for MAX Daylight.

Daylight

Most excellent app for looking forward to the days getting longer as spring approaches. It’s very encouraging!

MAX Daylight is my favorite app

This app helps to get daylight alerts on your phone

Thank you for your rating and review. If you have any suggestions for us on how to improve the app, please let us know.

Terrific!

I love this app - I’ve been checking this data online now and then, but having it on my phone and iPad in such a great format is awesome. It even has a solar graph chart that visualizes the sun’s current elevation, similar to one of Apple Watch’s faces - my favorite. Great job - many thanks!

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind review! Check out version 2.0.4 - the sun is now added to the solar elevation graph inside the light ring.

Essential for the changing seasons

I spend a lot of time outside and this app is essential for knowing how many more hours I have left to play beach volleyball, when I’ll have light for a safe bike ride home, if I need to apply sunscreen etc. it comes with a great widget that I keep on my home screen.

Greetings

Hi Steve,
Just touching base. All is well here. How about you? Can you remember a time when you held an original Macintosh on your lap to take notes? I do. Well we’re losing a minute of evening daylight every day. Regards, Harold

Response from developer

Hi Harold,  Thanks for the five star rating! All well here, but we're losing almost 2 minutes of daylight every day. Hope you are broadcasting to all your friends about MAX Daylight - you can find out how big an influencer you really are! I remember seeing a pre-release LISA in ADL's San Francisco office, and trying to figure out what a mouse was! My first Mac was a 1987 Mac II. Check out my latest app "Live Long!" on the App Store, and be one of the first to use it.   Thanks again, Steve

Terrific!

I love this app - I’ve been checking this data online now and then, but having it on my phone and iPad in such a great format is awesome. There’s only thing that I miss - a solar graph chart that visualizes the sun’s current elevation, similar to one of Apple Watch’s faces. I hope the author would add it at some point. Great job - many thanks!

A Song of MAX Daylight

The nox was lit by lux of Luna
And ‘twas a nox most opportuna
To get an app full of fortuna;
Be home at sunset or yet sooner,
MAX Daylight is the app we speak
That does not squeak and does not leak.

Apologies to Carmen Possum.

Great app for outdoor photographers!

Especially for ones who live less than a mile away from a West Coast beach. The app is also a great alternative to the world clock.
