red flags đŸš© đŸš©đŸš© 1. I literally spent an hour just trying to list my items and that alone gave me all the I needed. 2. The ridiculously long terms & conditions always concerns me as to what legal mumbo jumbo did they just force me to agree to, that they KNOW the average user doesn’t understand and if we did we wouldn’t agree to it. 3. Then I found that users reviews - many negative reports of having items sell for super low prices, huge fees taken or not being paid based on not meeting certain thresholds!! Shame on you! this is MAX nonsense 😡

Edit: the company responded to my review yet NO ONE PROVIDES SUPPORT AT THAT EMIAL lol. Insanity.

New site

I just downloaded the new version and it doesn’t show address of sales.

There's a chance you might have clicked on our recent Signature auction, which is a shipping-only auction of high end items and does not have a local pickup (shipping only), so it doesn't have an address displayed. The other auctions appear to be displaying as expected. No auto-refresh/bid updates

Been a Maxsold bidder for years and was very impressed by the app when it debuted. However, I discovered a big flaw last night. The app does not refresh when new bids are placed! I was sitting there, watching a listing expire, counting down. I was the high bidder. 30 seconds, 29, 28
 There was a green badge with ‘Winning’ displayed. I finally got to zero and the listing said Closed. The same current bid was there, so it looked like I won. Nope. I discovered about an hour later that someone had outbid me but the app didn’t show it. The app only showed that I had won because it doesn’t auto-refresh with new bids like eBay does. I would have had to exit the listing, go to my watch list, and click on the listing again to see the updated bid. Very frustrating.

One other minor quibble - about a month ago the devs removed the Watchlist button, which is minor but irritating to have to go back to the home page each time. The Watch list lives in a banner at the top now.

What a confusing pile of #@$%

States online there are two separate apps one for selling and one for buying yet when you go to the app stores there is only one! What? 
 downloaded the MAxsold seller app and it’s the buying platform with an option to logon the selling portion 
so confusing
.. login information with password only works for part of our team even though its been verified the same login information
 they keep trying to force you to use a code which dose not work if you have multiple teammates logging in to try to upload info
. The whole team doesn’t not have the ability to get a code sent to an email address over and over again until every one can log into the sale. VERY INEFFICIENT!!!! Once select team members log into Just a spinning circle of death when trying to upload info
. At this point it seems like we will not even be able meet our auction posing deadline even with extra time added to our schedule for working out problems, im sure our customer will be up set

For login codes and multiple users, we recommend creating unique logins for everyone involved in the catalog. Setting up a single user is straightforward, and you shouldn't face the same issues with codes/passwords. Once set up, the "share" button makes it easy to add contributors using your ID and PIN. Can not complete registration

Dont bother downloadingbthis app. It will not let you complete registration. Yellow highlights will stay blank and not advance to conplete. Possible data harvesting? Beware.

Maxglitch

Don’t wait until the last minute to bid snipe after you’ve opened an account or you’ll find out bidding requirements aren’t met. Not good for sellers or buyers. My bid ceiling was $1800 for an item that went for $200.

Please add Bid History. Then it’s perfect.

Simple, quick, easy to use. No ads at this time. Very solid. Please, please add bid history. It’s the only thing missing.

App functions don't work

Doesn't allow user to enter credit card or log out! Waste of time download. Too bad since it seemed better than website...at first. đŸ€Šâ€â™€ïž

Much better than the website

This is a great app! Compared to the website, the app makes browsing through lots much easier and efficient. It’s very easy to use. I love how easy is to find items nearby and place bids quickly. Highly recommend it!

Comments

Bid History section still lags horribly. Sellers NEVER respond to questions posed. Quite often both item photos and descriptions don't adequately describe the items. This app doesn'tchange these shortcomings.

Frustrating

When it works, it works. A broken app, half the time doesn’t let me log in, customer service can’t fix it, desperately needs improvement
