Incredible app
MaxSold has been a lifesaver for my family! We had a ton of random stuff and old comics downstairs that we needed to get rid of, and my friend recommended MaxSold. It makes listing things incredibly easy and has saved us so much time.
The only thing I’d improve is the photo cropping. It can be a little frustrating because clicking the crop option adjusts the corners as well as the borders.
Other than that, MaxSold is an amazing app and has made selling our stuff so much easier!

Great platform to use for resell
I started this 3 weeks ago and I have seen nothing but amazing results! Listing things is so simple sine AI does all the work for you and all you need to do is take pictures and make sure the description is accurate for what it fills out! And you have the option to add more information if needed! Great platform I got nothing but positive things to say!

Best Auction Site on Internet
Maxsold beats eBay, Etsy, etc on sites to buy * Sell on, I sold + brought on eBay since 1999 with thousands of feedback, ditto on Etsy, But Maxsold beats em all, I get 100,000 views on Maxsold on my downsizing auctions I sold on, but eBay,…even if items are promoted, lucky to get a few hundreds views, Maxsold also best place to get best prices for buying collectibles. I love buying on Maxsold. Nobody can beat it.

Hidden fees everywhere
There are multiple hidden fees they don’t tell you about when you win an item that will very quickly add $5-$10 to that item very quickly. If you can’t make the pickup window on the 1 day which is only 2 hours long you can reschedule but for an additional $20 fee which again they don’t tell you about . Please please stay away from this site and stick with real auction sites or legitimate auctions .

red flags 🚩 🚩🚩 1. I literally spent an hour just trying to list my items and that alone gave me all the I needed. 2. The ridiculously long terms & conditions always concerns me as to what legal mumbo jumbo did they just force me to agree to, that they KNOW the average user doesn’t understand and if we did we wouldn’t agree to it. 3. Then I found that users reviews - many negative reports of having items sell for super low prices, huge fees taken or not being paid based on not meeting certain thresholds!! Shame on you! this is MAX nonsense 😡

Very poor management
I thought this was a good app till twice I was the winning bid and the item was closed. Go back a minute later and I’m losing and it’s closed. How does that happen. It doesn’t in a real auction.
Buyer/seller review
Very pleased. Buying & selling are very easy and system is user friendly. Any issues have been dealt with promptly and efficiently with patience and helpful representatives. I'm grateful to have this platform to help liquidate the estate items in our possession. - I almost want to make it my job! Thanks very much

Low bids hi cost
I would not use this service. Not many users out there so the bids are very low and there $100 cost or 30% is high. Better options out there.
Unfortunate update
The new update is really ugly and messy. It was a very clean simple design before. It’s super ugly now and harder to navigate.
Needs auction number and filters
Generally works better than the website on mobile, however it doesn’t seem to show the auction number anywhere. So if I search for comics, it can be challenging to know whether I’m bidding in the same auction or multiple. I’d rate it higher if it showed the auction number when scrolling through items, and if some filters were added (auction grouping, closing dates, pick up dates).

I just downloaded the new version and it doesn’t show address of sales.
No auto-refresh/bid updates
Been a Maxsold bidder for years and was very impressed by the app when it debuted. However, I discovered a big flaw last night. The app does not refresh when new bids are placed! I was sitting there, watching a listing expire, counting down. I was the high bidder. 30 seconds, 29, 28… There was a green badge with ‘Winning’ displayed. I finally got to zero and the listing said Closed. The same current bid was there, so it looked like I won. Nope. I discovered about an hour later that someone had outbid me but the app didn’t show it. The app only showed that I had won because it doesn’t auto-refresh with new bids like eBay does. I would have had to exit the listing, go to my watch list, and click on the listing again to see the updated bid. Very frustrating.
One other minor quibble - about a month ago the devs removed the Watchlist button, which is minor but irritating to have to go back to the home page each time. The Watch list lives in a banner at the top now.

What a confusing pile of #@$%
States online there are two separate apps one for selling and one for buying yet when you go to the app stores there is only one! What? … downloaded the MAxsold seller app and it’s the buying platform with an option to logon the selling portion …so confusing….. login information with password only works for part of our team even though its been verified the same login information… they keep trying to force you to use a code which dose not work if you have multiple teammates logging in to try to upload info…. The whole team doesn’t not have the ability to get a code sent to an email address over and over again until every one can log into the sale. VERY INEFFICIENT!!!! Once select team members log into Just a spinning circle of death when trying to upload info…. At this point it seems like we will not even be able meet our auction posing deadline even with extra time added to our schedule for working out problems, im sure our customer will be up set

Dont bother downloadingbthis app. It will not let you complete registration. Yellow highlights will stay blank and not advance to conplete. Possible data harvesting? Beware.
