App crashed
I just downloaded this app. Although it’s slow, I was enjoying the short videos and learning. Just tried to go on and the app crashes. I deleted it, then downloaded it again. This time I was able to open it, to have it not do anything for 30 seconds, then to crash again! I’m on WiFi, with a brand new iPhone btw. I would come back if these issues got fixed, but IT issues not worth it.

Disappointing surprise
I am a big fan of John Maxwell, but this app is a little disappointing to say the least. I went looking for In App Costs before downloading, and could not find a listing for any. I figured that was a wonderful bit of news, and figured there would be lots of advertising for Maxwell’s book and courses instead. Nope… the app opens with an upgrade screen that will not clear. The fee is monthly or annual. It is not unreasonable, but integrity would put that right up front in the App Store where it should be.

Error Message
I've encountered a recurring issue with the app that prompts an error message indicating I need to restart it. As a result, I have decided to uninstall and then reinstall the app to resolve the problem.

Terrible app operation
It will not grant you access to content even paying pro access and you will spend hours for a video to load website is same
Don’t Know What I’m Paying For
At every tap of the finger you’re prompted to upgrade your subscription but I have no idea what I’m really getting. The subscription levels are so vague, I don’t know if I’ll get access to the programs I want or will it be a never ending ask for more money. And with no visible money back guarantee, I’m hesitant to upgrade. There’s suppose to be free content but I have yet to find anything within the app that is free. Super disappointed, I feel like I’m being scammed and that doesn’t sit right with me. And yes, I’ve even tried to find the answers to my questions on the website, nothing new there.

Hi. I am interested in trying to use this app, but it’s not w. When I signed up, I never received the verification code by email. And when I try signing in it says username not valid. Please advise.
Discontinued Lilo app with no refund
I signed up for a 12 month subscription on John Maxwell’s highly promoted Lilo app. The app stopped working and was removed from the App Store 3 months into my 12 month subscription. Despite several attempts with customer service I’m still no closer to a refund. I wouldn’t subscribe to a John Maxwell service again - who knows when they might cancel it and leave you out of pocket.

Free? Useless if it doesn’t work
Free content promised in promo email isn’t accessible. And other free content doesn’t work (I’m on a late model device with fiber internet speeds). Would love to love it, but can’t even access it.

No customer support when there’s an issue
I need to keep giving you one star because I’m paying $49.99 a month and for the first week the app worked well. Now all the sessions are blocked like on the free version. Come on guys. It’s impossible to contact anyone in support. There’s no number or email. For a leadership company this is surprising that there is no way to reach someone when there is an issue.

App registration is not working
I really want to support John with this new tool, but a) could create an account - wouldn’t accept the 6-digit code. b) I went to the website to report this and got an error on the support form when trying to submit it.
I work in the web and all world and unfortunately this was a horrible experience.

This app, by far, is my MVP of apps. I love the weekly journeys & teachings from John Maxwell & his Guides. It’s the kind of insight that is not only motivating, but insightful. I love to grow & stretch and this gives me the tools I need, on a daily basis, in the most convenient form, to pour into myself so i can pour into others.

I remember listening to John Maxwell for the very first time when I was 12 years old. I learned so much then!
Now I can learn every day from John, Mark Cole, and the other phenomenal leaders that bring daily steps to help me grow. My favorite part has been the action items inside of each course. I’m able to keep track of my growth and implement steps to watch my progression. This app is powerful!

Excellent content
I love that there is new content happening regularly. I can sign in and access a new perspective on a leadership skill and get new insight anytime I need it. I have enjoyed learning from multiple thought leaders and look forward to more learning and personal growth in the future. I love being able to access my Maxwell Leadership online courses here, too.
