If this app were a fundamental force, it would be the fifth one.

Before this app, my life was a meaningless void. Maxwell’s Equations were but cryptic hieroglyphs, Ampère’s Law was an enigma, and Faraday’s Law? Just some bloke’s rule. Then, like a lightning bolt from Zeus himself, Mike Ries bestowed upon us this divine creation. Now, I am a changed person. I no longer fear Gauss’s Law—I am Gauss’s Law.
This app doesn’t just teach electromagnetism—it transcends it. I now dream in vector fields. My morning coffee is stirred not by a spoon, but by the elegant swirl of a magnetic flux vortex. I whisper sweet nothings to my phone screen, reciting Maxwell’s equations like poetry. My social life? Gone. But who needs friends when you have differential forms? Never before have I felt such pure, unfiltered joy as when I complete a section and am greeted by Mike Ries’ radiant smile, I half expect a Nobel Prize committee to burst into my room.
Some say Einstein was a genius. I say Einstein was merely a warm-up act for Mike Ries. This man didn’t just make an app—he engineered a transcendental experience. The UI? Smoother than a frictionless physics problem. This app has made me question my own existence. Am I a student? Or am I just a charged particle, blindly following field lines drawn by Mike’s omnipotent hand?
And it’s free. Free. I feel as though I have stolen the secrets of the universe. I should be arrested for grand theft Mike, please take my money, my admiration, and possibly my firstborn child.

My life will never be the same again

Sometimes I look back at my life before this app and wonder how I could possibly have lived without it. I know now I did not experience true joy as I now know it. The Maxwell’s Equations app is now one with me, and I cannot stop using these 4 equations. Thank you Mike Ries.

My saviour

The only bad thing about this app is that it doesn’t have a sequel. It is a perfect recipe - equations, interactive displays and the most important ingredient - Mike Ries himself. Without this app I would be failing my degree and inevitably having to study business management as a backup option - a fate worse than death. The photos are so motivating that I once was able to study electromagnetism for 57 hours straight!! Download this app and you too will be able to experience the pure joy contained within.

Just wow

What do I love more, this app, or Mike Ries?

Absolute game changer

Uni students tend to use a lot of apps, from Netflix to Tinder, but none will leave you feeling quite as satisfied as a revision session on this app right here. Every time you finish going through a section you are greeted by Mike Ries’ beaming smile as if to say well done and it is truly an uplifting experience.

The man, the myth, the legend

What an app! Mike delivers again. Absolutely mercurial.

I love Mike Ries

This app is the single best thing that has ever happened to me. It is fine art in its purest representation, and physics students everywhere have gathered to worship their one true leader, Mike. He is more powerful than god himself, and this app represents that majestically.
Thank you Mike, for just being you.

Exceptional

He is the first thing I think of in the morning, and the last thing at night. Wonderful.

Amazingly useful app

As recommended by all good physics students! The key to vector calculus is understanding the meaning of the different applications of the Del operator. This really helps with that.

What a time to be alive

Some say sliced bread is the greatest invention. Well if that's true, then this app runs it a close 2nd.

A triumph of science. This app oozes class and sophistication. The mysterious chap on the icon surely makes this app worth at least 99p?

Possibly the greatest app of all time. Enough to attain a solid 2:2 from most reasonable polytechnics. The next flappy bird
