Fun & Helpful

I took lessons to learn Mahjong and use this app to keep up and help learn the card. I’ve gotten pretty good at deciding the right hands because of Maylee’s “percentage to Mahjong” feature, which I use to double check my decisions as a beginner & I can now use the app without having my card on me. I love this app!

Hard on the eyes

I thought the tiles were nice but the pink background and the very small tiles were just too hard on my eyes and I couldn’t find any other ways to change selection of tiles and or background

Only 1 free game

I am enjoying playing and learning Mahjong with Maylee. Unfortunately I only get one free game per day. This is very disappointing. At first I thought I did something wrong, but I confirmed that I had used 0 of 2 games. After I played one game, game showed that I had played 2 of 2 free games.

Best option BUT

Please add:

-Tile sounds and sounds for different actions (like when someone swaps a joker or wins)

-Optional music

-Different tile options

Cannot play 2 free games

Unfortunately a bug must exist that prevents the 2 free games. Only allows me to play one. Otherwise one of the better mahjong apps

Good teaching tool!

I am brand new at this game. My daughter was so excited to teach me. At 68, I wasn’t sure I was teachable. She patiently went over all the basics. Then she also suggested this app. Wow has this made a difference!

Great game for beginners

I have really enjoyed playing game on my phone to learn American mahjong. I like the game interface and it’s really helped me to learn mahjong as it’s a very intricate game.
Really recommend to play this app if you are learning mahjong or want practice intern playing with groups of people.

Great for learning the basics. I started playing this before I bought my set, to get familiar with the game, tiles, and building hands. Love it!

Beautiful

The prettiest of all my mahjong apps, I only wish the suggested hands can be featured permanently and not a tab I have to open and close. I do love that I change from portrait to landscape playing AND blanks - love blanks!

Now if you update your app and pin a suggested hand, it will attach right to the top of your hand so you can toggle it up and down for easy reference anytime during the game! NMJL 2026 card not represented fully

Have played a few times now and when trying to claim a tile to complete a sequence, it tells me I can’t claim the tile because I lack the tiles to complete the match. However, I had the 336 bam tiles and the discarded tile was the 9 bam I needed to complete the 3369 sequence. It was not a closed hand combination. I was going for the FF 3369 3333 3333 hand under the 369 section of the NMJL 2026 card. The game only seems to allow me to make same number of, same suit matches when attempting to claim discarded tiles. I checked to verify that I had the NMJL 2026 card selected in the settings for the game. Really like the style of this game as well as the option to play free. Just don’t understand how or which hands from the selected card are supported.

Love this game!

I have learned so much playing on this game! I am new to MahJong and this app has been great to practice when I can’t play with friends. I recommend it to everyone I know who is learning or plays Mahjong with me! It’s helping me kick my teacher’s butt!

Buggy

Feels unfinished. Won’t validate concealed hands (from their card) with jokers so I just exited.

Needs improvement, but has lots of potential!

Beautiful app, just very slow compared to other mahjong apps and does not appear to sync between devices very well (if at all, just started playing on my phone and iPad and it hasn’t synced yet). Wish it was a quicker and smoother experience.

We actually noticed the slight delay you described and it bothered us too… so we fixed that 🥳 We just released an update with significant performance improvements and the app is now MUCH faster and smoother! EDIT to add - So sorry we misunderstood what you meant by cross-device sync! Your subscription is available on all devices as long as they are logged into the same Apple ID! You might need to open settings in the app and click "Restore Purchases."
