Probably the worst one I’ve used.

The options aren’t removable, if you try to make your own decisions the app sometimes over rules it and there is no option or way to roll it back. It is very barebones and poorly done. There are much much better apps and cheaper too.

(Response to the developer response) If you’re aware there is an issue with the AI’s response, a temporary roll back options would be great. Cause at the moment the AI is playing itself without acknowledging player input

Thank you for your feedback. You are right; the game currently has a bug that sometimes doesn’t respect user choices, but I’m working to fix it. The lack of a rollback option is deliberate and will not change in the near future. This way, your actions matter, and it makes you think twice before doing something risky. —— (Response to the response) I fixed the issue of AI ignoring player input on the backend. During testing, I can’t reproduce this behavior anymore, but I will keep an eye on this behavior. Also, I had time to think about my position on rolling back turns. So I will experiment and will let the user rollback one turn in case the AI went off script too much. Still, I will not give the option to roll back the story to any point you want. Works but

Custom stories lack customization to characters for consistent appearances or abilities. AI makes things up or gets the wrong regularly with no way to correct it and it forces constant plots on you even if you are actively trying to build character dynamics in the story.

Thank you for your feedback. I will work to improve character creation and consistency. AI, as a technology, has limitations in maintaining story consistency. But I am working on minimizing this in short-term memory. You also make a good point that AI can be too pushy in moving the plot forward. I will need to work on this. Thank you again. Amazing App, though 2 minor requests

This app is amazing, it runs smoothly, and you aren’t pestered by relentless ads. But what I feel would make this app even better would be an offline mode and or an option to use custom icons for characters

Thanks for your feedback. I'm happy you're enjoying Maze AI. Offline mode isn't really possible with current hardware limitations. Maybe one day a phone will be able to run a good enough LLM for this kind of work. I'm working on a new version and will include an image picker for a character avatar, and I will also try to let you generate your own avatar with AI.
