Extremely Glitchy
App takes forever to just start up. It takes about a year to log in. When you do try and log in, nothing seems to happen but then after an hour, it randomly logs in. The app is so slow, that when it eventually catches up, it’s going through the motions of what I clicked on the app. Please fix this app because it does not do justice to the excellent service provided by city employees that resolve requests.

Stopped working
I’m trying to create a service request but it’s an inactive mode. I select what I want, add an address but then the rest won’t work. I see it’s been almost a year since it’s been updated. Time to update and get it working McAllen.

Make it easier to use
They just need to put a favorite option or a most used available to make it easier on the consumer to use.
Bad new McAllen 311 app
The old McAllen 311 app was very easy to use and has location accuracy via google maps which will put a put where you are at with the issue. The new app is quite frankly garbage and should be deleted. You can’t place a problem request using a map pinpointing where you are. You have to guess the address where the problem is instead of being at the actual address or pointing in the map where it is. Feedback is also non-existent. And also it also requires you to sign up again because your old login does not carry over to the new app. I would rate the app a negative 1 million but there is no option for this. Look at all the reviews I the last year to present they are just 1 star because they can’t give a negative rating.

The app constantly freezes and I have to delete and download.
Cannot Log In
I’m a registered user, but the new app doesn’t recognize me.
New app altogether; won’t recognize old username/pw
Old username and password don’t work, and it doesn’t allow you to set up as a new user either. The old app usually wouldn’t let you upload pictures but at least allowed you to get your request submitted.
Update Ruined App Access
The new app update will not recognize me as an existing user. Create account shows blank spaces and will not show what user is typing or what information it is asking for. There are many users unable to access the app and are waiting for this issue to be resolved. Lots of work to be done within the city and residents are unable to report problems without being placed on an eternal hold when calling in. Please fix ASAP!

Update ruined the app.
On the create an account screen all the stuff you need to fill out is blank. It doesn’t tell you what to put where.
Good way to communicate to the city, but buggy
I change my review on 7/20/2020. This is great way to get local concerns fixed, but the application is very buggy and very slow to use. Additionally the app does not support dark mode on iPhones. Additionally, if we can click on the map where the issue is, it should automatically fill in the address on the ticket. This app does not have all the functionality of the previous application. Hopefully these issue can be fixed in an update.

Would be 5 stars BUT...
I've been trying to submit request tickets but the available issues to report are a string of random numbers letters and symbols. This app needs some maintenance. As soon as this issue is addressed I will change my rating to a five-star and include a more positive review.
Great App
Created two tickets for separate issues and we're both resolved quickly. Easy to use didn't have to call.
