App needs work

I started with the flash cards and many of them are missing a question entirely. It’s subscription based, relatively cheap, but cancelled before the first day was up.

Okay, except for when it’s not

So this is a decent resource for simple questions to review for the MCAT, however, over the course of 99 questions I found two that were flat out wrong and some that were so poorly written it made it impossible for there to be a correct answer at all! For something that will charge you after a week, there are better FREE resources out there. MCAT prep app (blue icon with white stethoscope) is MUCH better and almost entirely free!

DO NOT USE

I got this app to have something quick on my phone that I could run through questions on when I didn’t have my other study stuff with me. There are SEVERAL incorrect answers and so many typos it makes it difficult to know what some questions even say. I’ve tried to report questions for incorrect answers and it pops up to send an email but then it doesn’t give an option for me to actually send the email.

I’ve never written a review for anything before but this app is horrible. If you’re trying to study for the MCAT, please don’t get this app!! You will end up so confused and frustrated.

Don’t used this app

When you pay for an app, you expect it to be relatively flawless. This app has many flaws, including many incorrect answer keys and many questions that are not even fully written. It’s frustrating for people attempting to study for a test as difficult as the MCAT.

Couple of concerns about using this app.

I teach undergraduate human physiology and the biggest concern was that some questions are definitely miskeyed. The other thing to note is there are a lot of grammatical errors such as forgetting tenses or missing words. These two things combined lead me to ditching this app.

This app is cheap, the design is intuitive and effective, and the explanations are helpful but I wouldn’t recommend it due to coming across multiple questions that are flat out miskeyed or written so poorly that they only make sense if you add words or tweak the grammar.
