About
MChess is a chess app for players who enjoy familiar rules with new tactical possibilities.
Start with standard chess, then try the expanded mode: build a custom army with a fixed point budget and play with hybrid pieces such as the Maharajah, Archbishop, and Chancellor. The app validates custom setups before a match starts, so unusual positions still begin from clear legal rules.
Play on one device, practice against the built-in engine, or use local network play when two players want separate devices. LAN hidden setup lets each player prepare privately before both armies are revealed and the match begins.

Place the pieces yourself A free-placement editor: put any piece on any square, with no army budget and no start-position rules to obey. Study a game, build an étude and look for its solution, then play the same position out against the engine — or share it as a link and let someone else try. Eleven languages The app and maharajah.one now speak English, Ukrainian, Russian, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, French, Bengali, Urdu and Arabic. Pick yours in Settings → Options; Urdu and Arabic read right to left, and the board keeps its usual a…h orientation.
