A percentage of the drivers will have difficulty using this app. Simplicity is the key. Drivers are on a timeline and do not have patience when it comes to using the app

Tried out the ability to upload pdf and it really helps, would love to see the pdf ability become available for the android version as well, as would like the random issues with departing from locations to be solved.

Always down
In the 1 year I have had this app the servers have been down at least once a month. Sometimes more than 1 time a month. This is crazy to me as trucking depends on these apps to show on time delivery and arrival of loads. And each time the issue continues for 4+ hours

Hi, fhnmvx, Sidekick does rely on your carrier's server to be online. Our support team is available to troubleshoot if needed at sidekicksupport@mcleodsoftware.com. While the app does periodically reach out to central McLeod servers, we've not experienced outages of the frequency and duration you describe in the last year.
I hate it!
The app is bad. It’s poorly designed and buggy. Add too many photos and it crashes and you have to start over. Not enough categorical options for documentation uploads. It’s overly complex when it doesn’t need to be. I work for another company that had one developer that word great!

More issues
I keep having issue when scanning my documents, this app only lets me attach pictures so I am always having to screenshot all of my pdf files, and it randomly chooses which images to duplicate when I “scan” my documents. Would love it if this app worked better and accepted pdf files.

I’m locked out of my app and told my company I’m done with it because I can’t log in.
Missing ability to upload pdf
The app really needs a way to upload pdf files as most receipts get emailed to drivers as a pdf file, plus pdf files tend to be smaller in size.

Sidekick
After running the McLeod anyway app for some time now the new sidekick app is so much more user friendly with so many perks, images are auto cropped for easier scanning, messaging is accessible right from the dash board, your weekly settlement/paycheck is available right on your Home Screen, load info is easier to access, all in all I see this being a huge upgrade to the anywhere app, thank you McLeod for continuing to make our jobs easier.
