Crashes after opening

I am on the latest IOS version and the software crashes after opening. Looks like the developer has not updated the software for a long time. Others have had the same problem.

Not working

Just downloaded (after paying) and when app launches, I see a brief screen which contains network icon then below that line is local but no items. Then after maybe 2 seconds, the app closes and I’m returned to the desktop screen of apps. I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong. Looking back at App Store description, it seemed to indicate that last version was 3 years ago. ? Needs update for iOS 11?
