I played this all the time on my iPod touch as a kid and loved it. I wish I could play it on my iPhone but the game doesn’t work for the latest version of IOS, so please update the app so I can play this game again.

I loved this game and got as far as I could in it. I emailed the developers asking if they were going to update it, and unfortunately they will not be. They're focusing on Fashion Empire as that's their most successful app.
If you haven't updated to iOS 11, I definitely recommend it, just know that it's incomplete.
I'm disappointed, but I love Me Girl and want it to live on as long as possible in whatever form it can, so I'm okay with laying this one to rest.
