Love it! But…
Overall though, I love this. Very simple, clean, and really effective! I like that you can change the daily habit to a certain word count, and that I have never experienced ads or an option to “go pro.” It really just seems like an app made by people who like writing :) although the inclusion of an AI prompt is a bit disappointing.

Hi Catdidthis! Thank you for using Meanwhile and thank you for the review and feedback. We'll look at adding a "prompt-less" or "just write" writing mode in the next update! Thanks for the great suggestion. Some users have expressed disappointment that we use AI generated prompts, while other users have encouraged us to use all AI generated prompts so there's more variation. It's a fine line to walk and as creatives ourselves, we struggle with this in every development meeting. In the next update, we're looking at moving to Apple's on-device text generation models alongside our hand-written prompts. This doesn't solve the problem entirely, of course. We'll keep looking at this and talking to users like you to find a happy medium. Thanks for weighing in, and we're glad you're getting use out of Meanwhile.
