Dangerous

If you’re able to get this installed it will only be because you searched the internet for better instructions.

The dangerous part is that a big exists where the steam temperature is not regulated at all. I watched in horror as the temperature almost exceeded 185 Celsius which would have blown the thermal fuse.

Also turning the power switch off will not stop the power. You have to pull the power out of the machine by unplugging it. Yikes!

Jan is clearly in over his head and rarely responds. Jan...if you’re listening...I’d love to convert this to a 5 star review.

Awesome idea, BUT 💩company

The app itself is very good. It is meant to be paired with meCoffee BLE P.I.D. for iOS made for various espresso machines. This equipment needs to be installed before you can use the app.
The main problem is that the PID installation instructions are very confusing. There are no diagrams or photos to guide you. In addition, if you need to get in touch with the company, chances are you will not get a reply, and if by luck you do, there is no follow up.
The owner has been made aware of these deficiencies by numerous clients over the last few years yet, I have seen no improvement.
This is a real pity as this PID and Bluetooth interphase is a very elegant and brilliant piece of equipment. Hopefully, they'll listen to their customers before they run the company into the ground.

The PID install instructions are poorly written and misleading. It exposes the installer and your electric system to potential accidents.
No support whatsoever.
