Does it works with Meccano MAX? Looks like app interface doesn’t adopted to newer iOS versions
I can’t connect my elector set 10
No matter how long I leave it to connect it won’t connect.
None of the actions work
I can download the app, but it doesn’t recognize the four inputs to the mini brain, and none of the actions are active. Did everyone else give upon this app a year ago?
Not working. Need it fixed ASAP
The app used to work. It then stopped working since last update. Just like every other user reported. It crashes when loading at 10%. It’s been months and still no fix. Same problem on both iPhone and iPad with latest IOS. Now I can’t program my MAX. What a disappointment! I wouldn’t purchase any product from this company any more.

Worst app
Kicked me out of the App after 10 percent is loaded

All crashes about 5 seconds after loading. I’ve rebooted the phone and made sure iOS was updated, but still crashes.

I was trying to get in the MeccanoApp but I just got kicked out! I tried to do it multiple times, but It will not work! Please fix this bug!

App won’t load
At the initial loading page the app crashes. Multiple attempts to uninstall and reinstall have failed. Any patches?

I can’t connect max easily and max wouldn’t update for like the whole day and then the claw kept just making sounds that hurt my ears and after that I was just done with it (p.s. it took me w days to build it)

Max has squeaky wheels , clinking neck , and whenever I exit remote control his neck servo goes left or right and tries to break the servo mine is defective
Doesn’t work at all
We were able to get the Meccano Max info to download after about 5 tries, but it won’t launch in any way. Completely unable to use the app. Very disappointing.

Great concept but terrible interface...
My son got a M.A.X. for Christmas and we have been trying to program it. The app has a lot of flaws and doesn’t seem to interface right with the robot.
The remote mode works although limited. You cannot change the speed that MAX travels. Also when you record a manual path you cannot name and save it. When you click in the white box the keyboard does not appear.
The programming tool is awful! After identifying the servos the claw will open (using rotate command) but it will not close. The same goes for the neck servo. I can get the neck to tilt to one side but it will not tilt back in the other direction. The roll duel motor command had to be set with one forward and one backward to get the robot to go forward or reverse. Not very logical. When I link different commands they do not seem to all operate.
I will be contacting Meccano directly to see if they can offer any direct support but buyer beware! Unfortunately if you are reading this you probably already have purchased a MAX and are downloading this app to use it.
I will update this review if Meccano is able to solve these issues for me.

The app won’t open
When ever I open the MeccanoApp it won’t go to the place where you connect the Meccaspider

This app doesn’t work. It won’t load. Gets to about 40% then pops up rate this app. Will continue to give it 1 star.

This app is a complete waste nothing works takes forever to load my meccaspider controls are not on the screen my WiFi is fine same with my meccaspider I HATE THIS APP IT IS A COMPLETE WASTE
