Fun game, loot box ain’t great
First, I’d like to start off with this game is extremely fun. Every weapon and Mech is countered by something else and is balanced to the point where it always has a pro and con. The devs also listen to feedback from the community (which is a welcome change to devs who pretend to listen and continue with their tyrannical paths) and are constantly tweaking things to always revolve around fun instead of pay to win aspects. Now the con, the loot box inside the game that is opened using power cells. Power cells can either be picked up from enemy/ally destroyed mechs or bought if you want to support the devs/company. The issue I have is that after I bought 1000 power cells I found out it’s possible to win EVERYTHING inside the loot box from one pull. Everything has its own percentage bases chance of winning, however, none of the items chances are 100%. So if you were unlucky like me, you’ll only win 1 item. However, I also won nothing from a free pull from power cells I collected while playing the game. How is this a thing? How is it possible that you might spend $10 on power cells with a chance, albeit small, to not win anything? The highest percent chance of winning something is 60% chance to win 25 platinum. For $2-3 worth of power cells you’re telling me we might not get anything? Why would I buy it then? Small rant, fun game, awesome devs, weird loot crate system. Oh and some weapons can’t be aimed at all and are useless like heavy lasers.

Buggy and poorly balanced gameplay
This game does not deserve the 4 or 5 stars people give it. Too many bugs and poor game balance keep this from being a really good game. Some things don’t work consistently (e.g. capturing flags) and on occasion it just crashes. I’ve been hung up as the only player in the game where it thinks a component is still alive and the game will not correct it’s status. There are also cheats/flaws where a player can slip into features in the landscape and can shoot out while being shielded from any incoming fire. Game play is also not balanced, and at more advanced levels certain configurations of mechs in the hands of experienced players are completely dominant. This game needs work!

Amazing game. The issues
Well for starters (who may be thinking of downloading the game)the controls and the tutorial are very very simple and easy to learn the mechs are fitting to each rank you go through one of the only downsides is the higher rank mechs COST ALOT (not real money btw) for example I’m on rank 15 and on rank 16 you gut a lot of stuff including getting the atlas the best Mech in the game(in my opinion) it costs 5000 platinum witch is way to much and the ultimate crate isn’t that reliable. So I’ve been saving my platinum for over 2 months since rank 13 and I only have around 3000
so it’s almost making you pay for platinum with real money so developers if you could lower the price of higher ranking mechs just a little (especially the ones that cost platinum) that would be great still 5 stars though

When is this game going to be updated?
Played this game for almost a year, no updates and it is getting very very boring. Doesn’t matter how much money and time I spend on upgrades they always match you with Mechs that are better than you. Feels like they just want me to spend more money for upgrades but even if I do I can never get ahead. Just a scam?
It’s been a while since I posted the original review. The game doesn’t get updated. Game not only is getting boring but also frustrated. There are a lot of cheaters who use hacks that really are annoying and frustrating. Even though I report seems like nothing ever gets done about it.

Best Mech game out there
This game is so much better than any of the other mech games I have tried. Upgrades make a difference and don’t take forever. You can build your mechs up without spending money if you want. I have spent a little just because I am impressed with the game and think its worth rewarding the creators. I would definitely recommend this game!

Good... but issues
First I have to say I like and play this all the time. It’s far better than the other Mech game that is very much pay-to-play. Even if you pay with this game you only get access to the improved mechs faster, and those aren’t overpowered.
My big issues are...
1. Aiming is awful. Sometimes the auto-aim works, sometimes not. There is no way to tell where you need to aim to get a lock sometimes. Then when you do lock on and loose it you can’t manually aim. The aim issue seems to be worse as of last update.
2. There hasn’t been a significant update in more than a year. No new maps. No new mechs. No new weapons. Nothing.
3. The communication system is garbage. People like Apexboy spam public chat constantly (reporting players spamming should be an option), direct messages get missed because of this, and the inbox always shows there are 7 mail messages (we should be label to mark them read).
4. It has a reporting system for hackers and cheats, but they don’t pay attention to the reports. A couple of the problems are players constantly disconnecting and player hiding in location not intended to be ( inside walls and scenery), but no matter how often these players are reported no action is taken. A person who has 3000 disconnects should not still be playing.
If these issues were fixed I’d easily rate this game as 5 stars, but as of now these easily correctable issues are really annoying.

This Is The Best One
After playing multiple build your robots player vs player type games, I’ve come back to Mech Battle without any hesitation or regret. 4v4 is the right number for exciting gameplay. The platform itself runs very smoothly even with questionable data connections. The build costs, time vs reward, and game power balance are all better than the others. The build options themselves are just right; less complex and painstaking compared to games like War Robots, where the builds get so complex and expensive that “pay to win” becomes a huge factor. At the end of the day all the other mech games become arduous and unrewarding. Mech Battle is intrinsically more fun because the gameplay never fails to get your heart pumping.

Great! Needs a little freshening up.
Love this game. This game is straight forward, earn in game currency and buy things I’m happy to buy Platinum and Energy Cells because they haven’t gone the way other mech games have with buying blueprints, etc. (I’ve deleted a lot of games or simply stopped playing them for that reason).
I’d really love to see the game spruced up a bit more regularly, and perhaps The addition of a modifier slot to add a marginal speed boost, etc.
Thanks for a great game that I love playing!

Need to fix spawns!!!!! Love the game tho
In last Mech standing it’s annoying when you just spawned and you’re engaged with one Mech and then you spawn another enemy in the same location seconds later. I’ve even had someone’s Mech spawn 1 second after mine and his Mech landed on top of my cause I didn’t even have time to move yet.
Other than that the game is pretty good. Maybe add a manual lock function so when guys are close to each other you can aim at the enemy you want to

Cheating lag switchers: not fun anymore
Its absolutely ridiculous that nobody can hit certain players because their inconsistent lag is causing them to glitch all over the place. The fact that some people just so happen to lag conveniently when you have them cornered makes it obvious that people are using this to cheat just like they do on xbox. (Lag switching) This game doesn't seem to do anything about grouping ppl’s lag together like the consoles do. It just lets the cheaters and the poor connections win. Keeps it from being fun for honest players.

Enjoyable game needs some tweaks
Need the ability to lock a target, too often the auto aim changes to the nearest bot, of course that bot is full health. Want to continue to attack the bot I started with.
As you level up it seems power cell counts decline
Matching making is reasonable so far, occasionally I am mopped up by much stronger players
The hanger weighted system is odd, same costs for upgrades regardless of Mech/weps size, light, med, heavy
Need target lock feature
Need to condense the summary screen, just takes too long to get back to the games
Needs a game style priority option, full death match no teams, is bogus the way you are spawning
Need to handle disconnects betting waiting minutes for a player to be remove is no fun, or the player comes back suddenly and ambushes you, yuck
Fun game, reasonable prices, fair playing field.

I want to give it 5 stars...
...but I can’t. This is a nice game and has great potential. Sadly there are missteps that create issues. There is a prominent display of “contact us, we listen” with no in-game way of contacting the company. I have looked extensively with no luck. Searching for a clan is near impossible if you don’t have the exact clan tag you want to find. A targeting reticle would be nice or some type of brackets to show where you need to be to in order to shoot an enemy. Targeting while in jump is poor, current targeting systems in today’s military works better and this game is supposed to take place in the future. Graphics are extremely blocky.
With some improvements this game could dominate the pvp battle mech genre.

Just what I have been missing
Mech Battle is reminiscent of the early days of WR when it was still WWR. If you want to be a wallet warrior you can, but there is not a single mech or weapon in this game that cannot be purchased by playing and earning the resources to purchase it. If you want to be impatient, fine. Break out the wallet. If you want to play for free, fine. You can become a dominant player without ever spending a dime. I honestly believe this game was developed by people who were WR players and got sick of all the clutter and obvious money grabs. This is just pure skill, strategy, and destruction.

It's my go to game, but it needs some QOL changes to make it better.
First and foremost, this game needs and better targeting system. It is super sensitive, and there is also no lock on, which makes it very annoying when you have large groups of enemies and you target someone you don't want to hit. This is especially bad when you are on higher elevation than your enemy, and you can barely hit it. But on a more positive note, this really reminds me of pre-war robots days, when the games were actually fun, so I thank the developers for that.

Tiny screen, BIG HANDS!!
Hey, this game is great. Love the layout, the mechanics and the upgrade system. Plenty of options for loadouts and tactical gameplay.
You are quite generous in terms of plat/gold for match rewards; with a little bit of farming and an ounce of skill the player can earn fast. The ad placements are perfect; they’re only there to make us play the game MORE and level up FASTER instead of BOMBARDING us and WASTING our time. You guys have done a spectacular job on the overall build and gameplay.
My two grudges are against the random quickplay matches (where my low lvl self gets stomped 6 matches in a row before another mode is selected) and the MAJOR ISSUE against the tiny UI that I can neither calibrate nor resize. I play on a 5S (small screen) and have fairly large manhands so it makes for trouble when I’m trying to fire my Towmak off the left shoulder and end up launching it, a burst of Justice and a laser blast cuz the button is tiny and my huge thumb missed and pressed the main fire control.
I’d like to select my PvP mode, but enlarge the control interface and you’ll have a well-earned 5-star rating.

Great mech game that’s not pay to play
Good maps/gameplay. Weapons and mech types are pretty versatile, and the resource grind seems to have a good pace. I also appreciate the battery saver graphics options, which prevents your phone from heating up too much. Recent updates have make it even easier to progress without paying money, by more adequately balancing the mech/weapon types to prevent “twinking”.
All-around fun game.

Good, but...
Very playable system, well balanced, with only a few issues. It seems everyone hates the high parabola missile, and they do ruin gameplay, but a minor issue. The biggest issue is even with my WiFi maxed, the connection freezes and boots me from combat constantly. This is so common, that every match has had at least one person freeze and get booted. I minimized the graphics but it still drags the game down by interrupting a match that was going well. The other hiccup is the view. The vertical is stiff, but playable. It makes a challenge out of dodging and reacquiring your target. Overall, if they fix the connectivity this would be a 6 star game.

Fun game, great service
Relatively new to the game, but not gaming. A few mechanics I feel could be improved such as spawning locations and better tutorial explanations. Otherwise, a lot of fun to play.
That being said, total 5 stars for the awesome in-game support. While having a problem upgrading a Mech (aforementioned tutorial conflict), I reached out in global chat for help. Many of the chat community immediately replied to assist, and then within minutes Dev. Robert was on helping me out. The prompt and efficient “digital” hands-on service was fantastic. He quickly identified the issue and resolved my problem. I see a lot of comments complimenting the devs for their attention and responses to player requests and feedback, and I can attest to their excellence in this. A really great experience after playing numerous amount of games seeing players being ignored by game staff.
