Amazing game and free - just like the original 10/10
Pretty unplayable on ipad without a gaming controller
Gameplay is excellent, 5 stars worthy as it sweeps ya back to childhood arcade days BUT as a grown adult, your hands cannot spend longer than one game with wrists almost touching to use the onscreen controls before they begin to hurt. Please make the game controls position adjustable in the settings so users can offset the outer buttons to be higher up screen so wrists can be in natural relaxed position given index fingers are shorter than middle fingers! Far more enjoyable with a gameSir bluetooth controller game pad.

Help!
This game is the only thing in life that brings me joy and now the left and right keys are sticking. I’m sure it’s not my iPad. I’m sure it’s your software. Please have somebody from the tech team reach out to me. I do not want to have to uninstall and reinstall to lose my seventh place, ranking on the scoreboard.

Ah, used to play this in the arcade back in the day. This is a great game, and nearly identical to the original. The only thing that could make this classic better, would be to upgrade the control of the ship from left/right arrows to touch control like nearly all modern iOS SHMUPS. With that said, the gameplay is simple to learn, hard to master, and a blast to play. The frustration level decreases as you master the game. The Devs have provided an excellent options menu, but I don’t see auto fire there yet. I know this has been around for awhile, but I’d really appreciate an update for that. Thanks! (Also, the paid version deletes the ads.)

Played this game a year or so ago & thought it was pretty awesome & alot lke the old phoenix i used to play many years ago…..dont know what the developers have done to it but those controls on there now are just impossible on a phone & the fire button isnt at all the same either. Would have def given a 5 if it hadnt been for that.
