About

Med-Action teaches first aid before you need it. Narrated, illustrated lessons cover the minutes that matter most — CPR for adults, children and babies, choking, severe bleeding, someone unconscious but breathing, heart attack, stroke, seizures, spinal injury and fractures. Each one plays like a short video: full-screen illustrated steps that advance in time with a spoken voice, so you learn by watching and listening rather than reading. WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL One small download and nothing needs the internet again. Built for the places where coverage runs out — roads, boats, mountains, basements. ENGLISH AND VIETNAMESE Both complete. Every lesson and every second of narration exists in each language, written natively rather than machine-translated. EVERY STEP CITES ITS SOURCE Med-Action does not invent first aid advice. Every lesson follows published guidelines from the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, Stop the Bleed, the Epilepsy Foundation and the American Stroke Association, and every single step tells you which one it came from. Tap a step to see the citation and open the original. No clinician has reviewed these lessons yet, and the app says so in About rather than leaving you to wonder. The citations are there so you never have to take our word for anything. IT TEACHES WHAT NOT TO DO Most harm done by well-meaning bystanders comes from confident wrong action, so every lesson carries an explicit "do NOT" list — never put anything in the mouth during a seizure, never pull out an impaled object, never do abdominal thrusts on a baby. DESIGNED FOR STRESSED, ONE-HANDED USE Large type, big targets, a pacer for CPR compression rate, volume and mute inside every lesson, and your local emergency number one tap away on every screen. PRIVATE No account required. Which lesson you open never leaves your phone. No analytics and no tracking. The free app shows one banner at the bottom of a tab, and one full-screen advert after you finish a lesson — never when you open one, never between steps, never on the search screen and never beside the emergency call button. Nothing is personalised, and Med-Action Plus removes all of it. You can also choose to watch one advert in exchange for an hour with none. --- Med-Action is a first aid TRAINING app. It is not medical advice, it is not clinical guidance, and it does not replace emergency services or a hands-on first aid course. The lessons summarise publicly published guidelines and cite them; they have not been reviewed by a clinician. In a real emergency, call your local emergency number first.

What's New in Med

Med-Action Plus is worth more than it was. Your training record can now be shared as a PDF — a proper document with your name, each lesson and its date, and the guidelines the lessons follow. It is a record of self-study, not a certificate, and it says so on the page. Plus can also remind you when a lesson is six months old and worth doing again. A skill you practised once in spring is not a skill you still have in autumn. For everybody, paid or not: the Records tab now lists every lesson, so you can see what you have not done yet, and marks anything you finished long enough ago to be worth repeating. Knowing your own training has gone stale is not something we will ever charge for. Every lesson still works with no signal, and nothing you need in an emergency is behind payment.
