Unuseable on iPad
The app is stuck in portrait mode, so you cannot use your iPad keyboard when using the app. I have uninstalled to use the web version instead. Spent hundreds on this software and they can’t get the basic app functioning right. Devs need to sort this out ASAP because their star rating is currently in wreck and ruin.

MedEntry Review
The first few months I spent doing the ucat, I had no idea about what I was doing, how I could improve and just what to do in general. That’s when I realised I needed some help and with the help of my parents, came across MedEntry. The classes I had with Kate and the two day workshop with Dr Ray have been so invaluable for me, they’ve taken me on a journey where through a fun and engaging manner, they’ve taken me through the ucat, given me so many tips on how to approach my study, different question types, strategies etc that have got me feeling so much for confident going into the ucat. I honestly couldn’t recommend MedEntry and the work put in from all of the staff highly enough and recommend anyone that is going to sit the ucat and is able to invest into buying the product as it is so incredibly helpful, everyone is so supportive and the people helping you genuinely put all their effort into helping you not only achieve the best ucat score you can achieve, but also to be the best doctors you and people you could possibly be.

Use on ipads
It’s great and I see the potential of everything, its just that the format of the questions on ipads are quite awkward and having to flip back and forth from portrait and landscape gets quite annoying.
I hope that in the future, you can leave it in landscape without the app automatically flipping you back to portrait.

Helpful but terrible app
The app is helpful for preparation, however it’s in a technical catastrophic condition.
Every time you swap to the next section be sure the video played is the wrong one, you always need to reload to get the video.
The video needs ages to load, partly it takes longer to load them than to watch them.
The app give you error messages on every corner, want to watch statistics? Well good look here is an error and a forced log out.
I don’t know which developer thought the app is ready for release or which marketing guy thought that this app is ok to be released but it’s not. It’s a beta at best.

Clunky app
Resources are great, app is trashy.
Buttons can be clicked but don’t do anything, e.g. can’t end reviews on QBanks. Just annoying when trying to gauge progress when you can’t see if you are right or wrong 😂

Doesn’t work for me
App is really bad for me have no clue why. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with latest software update and the app barely works. I can’t review questions or select anything from drop down boxes. Really frustrating to work with could you please potentially fix this?
i cant watch the learning videos
everytime i try to watch one of the learning videos, im just met with a white screen. pls help me bc i rlly need this to get a good ucat score
Crashes ALL THE TIME
Considering I spent £30 on this, I feel scammed. The app is slow in general (which I can tolerate, to an extent), the worst apart is the constant crashing in the middle of mocks and marking of answers as incomplete even when an answer has been submitted. DO BETTER
Best UCAT app
Having already done the UCAT once and used MedEntry, I saw that the questions were incredibly accurate to the actual UCAT. MedEntry lead me to obtain a score in the top decile, that was higher than any of my friends’.

Unusable or at least not convenient unfortunately.
I love the idea of the app, but some of it is executed poorly. For example, the QR, vent diagrams and AR skill trainers have questions that cover the diagram, so when answering questions, i have to keep pulling the question tab down to look at the diagram. Also, on iPad, the app is essentially unusable because portions of it either aren’t suitable on a landscape screen, or keeps weirdly switching between landscape and portrait.

App crashes a lot
I was very happy with using the program on my laptop, but this app has been terrible. The app has been crashing non-stop, crashing when I submit an answer (even though it was working fine before). On top of all this, the app only supports question mode while doing questions, so I keep having to turn my iPad while I’m doing the questions. When I tried using Stage Manager with it, the app just randomly changed the size of the window without asking me multiple times. Overall, this app has been a huge letdown, which is sad because the program is great.
EDIT: Dropping it to a 1 star, wouldn’t stop glitching, and I’ve now had to delete and reinstall TWICE, and it’s only the first day.

Lags and Crashes Constantly
Please learn from my mistake and save your money- I wanted an app to run through AR questions on my phone. The app lags so even if you have the answer it won’t click next so you can never finish the set. If you do manage to get through then it just crashes and doesn’t save your answers.
£15 I will never get back.

Well thought-out app! Combined with the workshop this app is amazing to boost confidence in UCAT skills. With skill trainers to improve efficiency, as well as practise questions, subtest mocks and exams!

Have to reset password every time I log in!!
When I made the account, it didn’t even give me the option to add my own password just and email address and then straight to log in. I reset my password and used it to get on to the website. Every time after this however it said “email address or password invalid” and I’ve had to reset my password over and over again to get on to the app. Eventually deleted out of frustration. In addition to this when I was on the app the purchases were up to £645. There was no obvious option that allowed you to use the basics of the app without paying for excessive things like 1-1 tutoring, it was confusing.

Inconvenient
They decide to do maintenance on the app during preparation season for the exam. Useless app for this season’s exam takers.
Wrong answers and no explanation
Quite a few of the answers are clearly wrong. I have also come across logic questions which have conditions that cannot possibly all be true. There is also no feedback on why and answer is selected as the right one so even without those issues it isn’t worth much
Practice Exams
Works okay, I appreciate having an app. However, it does not allow you to complete practice exams. It would be far better to simply warn users that exams are best to complete on a computer than restrict it, as this is not always practical. Consequently, I rarely use the app.
