MediaRoam brings your own videos, photos, documents, PDF-compatible AI files and static USDZ/STL models to iPhone and iPad. Connect a NAS or supported cloud source, play videos with subtitles, and edit supported files as copies. Apple TV focuses on big-screen playback and reading. YOUR OWN MEDIA Connect SMB (Windows computers and NAS), pCloud, WebDAV, Jellyfin, system Files and supported direct HTTPS media links. The searchable source catalog explains which connections require other apps or service permissions. MediaRoam does not supply video content or require uploading your media to a MediaRoam server. VIDEO AND SUBTITLES Playback, seeking, resume, favorites, offline copies, multiple audio tracks and external subtitles. Availability depends on the file, server and device. iPHONE AND iPAD FILE TOOLS • AI: read-only pages from files containing compatible PDF content, with page navigation, zoom and reset. Unencrypted files only, up to 32 MiB and 200 pages. No layer, text or dieline editing, or print/color/scale proofing. • USDZ: view compatible static models, rotate, zoom and reset without AR or camera access. • STL: compatible ASCII/binary meshes, rotation, zoom and reset. Up to 8 MiB and 100,000 triangles; monochrome and read-only, without materials, unit validation, repair or editing. • Text: search, replace, undo/redo the last Replace All, encoding and line-ending options, JSON validation and save a copy. • SRT/VTT: edit basic cue text, start/end times and a common timing offset. • CSV/TSV: edit cells, search rows, append or duplicate rows/columns, confirm deletion and undo the most recent structural change. Leading zeros are preserved; formulas are not calculated. • Images: rotate, flip horizontally, adjust a crop and export JPEG/PNG copies without overwriting the original. • PDF and other documents: preview supported formats. This is not a full Office, XLSX or PDF text-layout editor. Structured subtitle/table editing is limited to 2 MiB; tables allow up to 500 rows, 50 columns and 10,000 cells. Ragged rows are not automatically padded. Image editing supports single images; exports are limited to a 4096-pixel longest edge and do not upscale originals. USDZ limits: 64 MiB, 512 package entries, 4096 nodes, one million vertices/primitives; embedded image edges up to 4096 pixels and total texture pixels up to 32 Mi. Unsupported or oversized files cannot be previewed. Audio, nested packages, external resources, animation playback and model editing are unsupported. AI support is limited to PDF-compatible page content, not every Illustrator format. Legacy AI, DWG, DXF and Reality are unsupported. View file capabilities in the app for details. TRY BEFORE CONNECTING Original offline video, photo, PDF, subtitle, JSON, CSV, USDZ, STL and compatible-design demos work without an account, purchase or network. The compatible-design demo explicitly uses original PDF content. Apple TV provides playback, document reading and read-only STL viewing with remote rotation, zoom and reset, but not iPhone/iPad editing or USDZ previews. Your own sources require their respective services and access rights. The catalog does not imply native login for every cloud provider or support for every sharing-page link. Free, no ads or subscriptions, and no advertising or tracking SDKs. Only use files and media you have permission to access.
