App crashes upon opening
How hard is it for verbatim to actually get the app to work correctly? Every single time I try to open the app it just crashes immediately. There is no support for it. Does anybody have an idea where I can get an alternative app that will work with the Mediashare.?

The last update to this app was over 6 years ago!! There have been numerous iOS updates in that time and so this app no longer works on iOS 17 and later. Having paid good money for a device which otherwise still functions perfectly well, I find it unacceptable that I can no longer use it with my phone. Please Verbatim sort it out. I’m sure it would take a junior developer no more than 5 mins to make the necessary changes.

Used to use this all the time but ain’t needed it in a long while.
Just downloaded the app onto my iPhone and it starts and immediately shuts down. Looks like it’s unusable with the latest up dates.

No matter what I do if I try to share files off the app it crashes. If I try to copy a file it will only allow you to copy with in the app. Due to the inability to share you also cannot print anything off. If I could make my wireless reader work with another app I would use that.

The app won’t even recognize the USB device so I’m other words I can’t use the USB to transfer any pictures. This is a garbage product.

Bought the Verbatim Mediashare wireless to view the contents of a Seagate hard drive on my iPad Air(2019). Neither of the Mediashare apps work, certainly not on my iPad. It’s a real pity because there must be others out there that are having trouble connecting usb hard drives to iPads. Any idea if this app will be updated?

Doesn’t transfer
Today we did some video shooting, we came home and transferred the videos from the camera SD card to the iPad photos. It said all was good and transferred correctly. Nothing appeared in photos.

What happened? I’ve not used my device in a year or two and I’ve only just came back to it to find it doesn’t work anymore. The app is totally useless, it won’t connect at all. This was a great little gadget to possess whilst travelling around very compact but best place for it might be the bin!!

The share function causes the app to crash. Plus no split view support. It views and plays files great but needs updates for ios13

Was supposed to “transfer” photos from SD card to iPhone, instead it deleted them and transferred them into no where
Ruined my business.
i’m a photographer, i did a shoot today and used the device to transfer photos from my sd card to my phone. said everything was perfect and had transferred but there are no photos on my phone and now the photos aren’t on my sd card either...heartbroken. do not use.
