Limited availability of doctors
Unfortunately the service offered is not at all satisfying. Very little choice of doctors and availability. Besides what is not clear is that the terms and conditions refer to terms in Italian and English making the service extremely confusing and unclear. Not ready for the market

The app saved my trip in Italy
When in Italy and (unfortunately) you feel sick and don’t want the hassle to find a good English speaking doctor...here comes MedinAction! The service saved my trip...I requested a doctor while I was in my hotel in Rome with a very bad cough and headache and, a few hours later I had a very friendly and professional doctor visiting me. Sick while traveling in Rome!
Called their number, spoke to someone instantly. The nicest doctor came to our room within an hour and examined my husband for 100 Euros! Unfortunately it was bronchitis but he wrote us a prescription for antibiotics and a multivitamin and we made it to our excursions the rest of the day! Thank goodness for this service. We were being quoted 240 Euros everywhere else with late afternoon appointments. I wish we had this in LA!

Friendly and very helpful
I have been sick for a last 2 weeks in Rome and finally decided to call a doctor to diagnose me. Doctor Andrea responded to my chat immediately and was ready to come out even on the holiday to meet me at the hostel to give me a check up. He was extremely helpful and caring. Messaged me to check on how I was feeling as well. I highly recommend to all travelers to get this app. You will receive quality health care :)

Great idea!
I found Med in Action through a friend and used their services in Rome. Dr. Guerriero literally saved my vacation and me from a serious medical catastrophe after all my medication was lost. He took the time to find an alternative drug that would work for me when mine wasn't available in Italy. He stayed in touch and came to my hotel in a very timely manner. He was polite and kind. I hope the service becomes available in other cities as it was so reassuring to find him when I was alone in a foreign country. Crisis averted! I hope I don't need it again but it's very comforting to know I have this app if I do.

Great app for students and US university admins
This app is wonderful! My students use it all the time now to arrange same-day, English language doctor appointments and since Med in Action doctors come to your house, my students never have to worry about getting lost. Dr. Andrea is very professional and makes himself available 24/7 for emergencies. As a US university admin in Rome I know I can trust that students will get the best care. Med in action also coordinates follow-up specialist visits for more severe medical problems. Med in Action takes the anxiety out of getting timely and accurate medical advice and consultation. All students and university admins should have this app. Dr. Andrea is an invaluable resource. I can't recommend Med in Action enough!

First-rate service
As a US embassy employee I have access to medical services during business hours. But illness doesn't always manifest at a convenient time. When I got sick and needed a doctor ASAP during non-business hours, Med in Action sent a doc to my home within two hours. The doc was courteous, professional, thorough, and well-spoken. The visit even cost less than it would've cost to go to a doctor's office, and it was faster (and my insurance covered it)! The doc even followed up to see how I was and to determine whether I needed to see a specialist in the Med in action network.

Life saver!
