Doesn't wrk anymore
When the screen goes dark on my iPhone, apparently the timer goes on pause.. renders the app completely useless. Not sure what changed with this version.hope they can issue a fix ..
Well done but no longer works
App is easy to use and has additional useful features that are described in the Help screens. The main thing that I like is the realism of the bells and sounds. They are pleasant and fade out naturally. Update: app opens but is unusable

Poor customer service
I've emailed twice this year about the app freezing and have received no response. My in app purchase will not restore after reinstalling app to try to fix the freezing. With iOS 10 the error message appears that the developer needs to update the app in order for it to be compatible with the new iOS. It has not done so in months. I'm done.

It was great
This was the best meditation timer I have used, and having purchased one of the additional bells, a very appropriate sound. However it now crashes every time I try to use it on my iPhone, and the purchased bell has disappeared. So I've had to get a different timer, not half as good. Very disappointing.

Not too thrilled
Not thrilled about the fact that I have to pay more for the sounds despite paying $3.99 for such a minimalistic app.
What I am annoyed about is the bell wont ring if my phone goes to sleep. Not sure why the app has a save battery mode which if turned on allows the phone to sleep and not alarm me when the time is up.

Bummed
I spent $4 on this app to not have it work or be able to contact support because it doesn't work :(
When I use it on my phone, the timer pauses when my phone "sleeps" or locks on its own. I have never had this issue with any others apps pausing or stopping when my phone locks so I am naturally disappointed.
And the apps freezes when I try to contact support to fix the issue or get a refund.

I can't believe I paid for this.
This is nothing but a timer and a picture. The timer stops if you lock the screen. Every other meditation app out there is better even in the free versions. Maybe this was a nice app in 2012 but not anymore.
Almost great, crashes a lot
This would be a 5-star app except that it often crashes and the only way to reset it is to restart the whole iPhone. I still use it but it can be kind of frustrating.
Extremely buggy
Constantly freezes and stops working. It's clear this app hasn't been updated or debugged in a very long time (at least since iPhone 4 edition).
If only it didn't crash
I've been using this app for a long time and while the app itself is wonderful, it randomly freezes. So, I have to delete, lose all my data, and re-download.
That data has helped me keep my meditation practice on track and at least 8 times I've lost it all. Plus, the app has failed when I haven't had online access so I've downloaded a fall back app, just in case.
Wish the quirks could be worked out on this one so I could trust it wouldn't randomly fail.

Do not purchase if you have updated your iOS.
This has been my meditation timer for almost 4 years...till recently. It no longer works while your phone is locked.
All started after I updated my iOS. So disappointed. Tried all the suggestions on the website, nothing works.
I email the creators and there was no reply-Shameful.
I noticed that other reviews about the same issue are now gone-Shameful.
Contacted Apple and they replied they just sell it and there is nothing they can do-Shameful.
Plenty of better apps out there.

Excellent!
I love this App and use it daily for my personal meditation and for group meditation and to time my Healing sessions. The preparation and cooling times are very useful and helpful
Excellent aid for meditation
I finished up a meditation course where the guide would chime in between phases of different types of meditation and I wondered how I could replicate at home. This app is perfect for this, I thoroughly recommend. It's unfussy and tracks your total time spent meditating, you can choose intervals and there is a cool down feature for at the end of your practice.

Does not work
Unable to listen to or buy additional sounds. It freezes every time. I contacted the company twice. They never responded.
Buggy
Meditator has been my favorite app for ages but no longer rings through sleep mode so I switched to the Meditate app. Still does not ring through sleep mode but at least has a setting to keep phone awake. Really dislike the tinny included sounds and app freezes whenever I even listen to one of the purchasable bowl sounds. Attempts to purchase also freeze app.

Can I get a refund???
$3.99 for an app that is literally just a timer??? COME ON. I've been using Simply Being and LOVE it, but I was looking to change it up with some different background sounds. When I saw Tibetian Bells (or whatever they're called) in the description I thought that meant actual background sound.. But no, it means literally just a little bell that goes off when your time is up. This is a RIP OFF. I have no idea what all the positive reviews are about???

Disappointed
I was a long time user of this app but for some reason it stops counting down when the phone screen shuts off. I've asked for support a number of times with no response!!!
Okay timer
This app still has a few kinks to be worked out. It locks up and I have to power off my iPhone and restart the phone for the app to return to the home page.
Freeze problem
I recently upgraded my iphone 5 to the most recent ios software & now the meditate app freezes a lot...how can I fix this problem?

Timer isn't working under IOS8.
Once the screen fades, 1 minute on the timer is about 3 minutes in the real world.
