No enough opposition
This app is very easy to use but about 70 percent of the instruments are locked behind a paywall and you have to pay the same price as holo I’ll pass and you can’t use any brass instruments unless you pay the price. So overall it’s a good app but pay to use after you get it
Good! But too limited
This is the only app I’ve actually managed to make a song on and it’s very easy to use and simple once you get your head around it, but it just feels too restricted. There’s not enough instruments or vocals available so songs sound repetitive when I make them. Overall good just needs more instruments for free.

It is the perfect app and it’s simple and hard to make smoother fades makes it so easy to make my preference since I can’t make anything that I can’t customize

I spent a while looking for good free mobile music makers, this is exactly what I was looking for. There’s a tutorial and everything. I would probs subscribe (you kinda need to do get the best instruments) if it was a little cheaper.
incredible app, even for free
this app has turned me from a high school violinist into an EDM producer at 15 years old- it’s the only program i understand well enough to use, and i love it for that. it’s allowed me to pursue my passion for music beyond anything i ever could’ve imagined three years ago when i downloaded this. i recently paid for a yearly subscription cause i just had to have all the sound packs, and it’s paid off tremendously! i just finished the best song i’ve ever made, using all those new sounds i just unlocked. thanks so much, medly team! the only additional thing i could ever ask for would be the ability to add a glissando effect between notes, as the pitch bend tool isn’t quite accurate enough to do this quickly and easily. i think this ability would be the cherry on top of the awesome cake that is the app :) thanks so much y’all!!
8/17/26 edit: still ADORE this app, best DAW for iOS of all time, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add some kind of tempo automation and even more importantly MORE TIME SIGNATURES. i seriously need to be able to change how many beats there are per measure- i need to be able to make things in 3/4 or 5/4 or 9/8 or 7/8 etc etc…

Fun and easy but…
This app makes it easy to make music. It has simple and understandable tutorials as well. But I wish there was more free stuff. You can’t use the most string instruments, but there are couple other instruments available. If I had the money I would definitely pay for it though!

The app interface is great. very easy to navigate, easy to use, and it's great. One problem with it. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING requires you to pay a subscription. If you don't pay, you don't get any good instruments, and you don't get any good fun.
I would like to see almost all of the instruments free, and maybe some random ones (like nonsense) could be behind this rediculous paywall.
Please just do some changes. I get you guys need to make money, but find a better way to do it rather than locking almost every single instrument behind a subscription.
