MedPayGenie is a free medical app designed to help patients manage and pay their out-of-pocket healthcare costs. It allows you to consolidate all your medical bills, track payments, and pay participating providers directly through the app.
How do I add medical bills to MedPayGenie?
You can add medical bills by downloading them directly from your doctor's EHR/billing system if they are a partner, or by taking a picture of the bill's pay stub page. The app will then extract the relevant information to create a digital bill.
Does MedPayGenie support all doctors and hospitals?
MedPayGenie currently partners with specific EHR/Billing systems, including athenahealth and athenaCollector. While you can add bills from any provider by taking a picture, one-click payment is only available for participating providers.
Is MedPayGenie safe for my medical information?
Yes, MedPayGenie is a HIPAA-compliant app that prioritizes patient privacy. All your information and bill images are stored only on your phone, and no private information is saved outside of your device.
