The app finally runs full screen on iPad, and calls have a voice of their own. ON IPAD • No longer a stretched phone window: the app fills the screen. • Lists and the ride card keep a comfortable width instead of spanning edge to edge. OUR CALL SOUNDS • The tone you hear when calling is no longer the ringtone you hear when being called: you know who is calling whom, without thinking about it. • A sound when someone picks up, another when they hang up. • If the network drops mid-call, a discreet sound keeps you company while the connection comes back, and tells you when it has. CALLS • An incoming call finally connects when your app was closed: the invitation no longer gets lost on the way. • Your phone rings even if the app was closed or unloaded by iOS. • Tapping the call notification answers, instead of calling the person back. • Missed calls tell you who tried to reach you. • The ringtone stops on its own after 45 seconds instead of ringing forever. • Joining a group call actually connects you to the others. • Mic and camera turn off when you leave a call. • Hanging up from the lock screen really hangs up.
