**MedZeit** is the time-tracking app for physicians and medical professionals who need reliable shift, on-call, and pay documentation. Log hours, overtime, and surcharges in seconds - then instantly review compliance, workload, and compensation. **Why MedZeit:** - **Fast shift logging:** Date/time, breaks, notes, and medical-duty categories (on-call, phone, night/weekend/holiday work, and more). - **Live timer for active duty:** Start, pause, save, or discard with one flow. - **Automatic pay calculation:** Base rate, category rates, on-call logic (percentage or flat), plus all surcharge types. - **Home with smart duty context:** Forecast, extra-hours card, comparison, and “Time to recharge”.
