There are some purchases, but there are also two games and one story. The story is interesting and you can also get a signed picture onto your ipad from the makers of the game. The ages are 5-7.

My nieces love it!
Kept them quiet at a recent wedding and works great out at dinner. I put it on my iPhone so I can let them play when I'm babysitting. Makes me feel like a better aunt that they're learning something.
