Has potential but could be better
I have found a couple of new books to read off this app, and I do love the idea of it overall. But there are a few of things that would really just make it overall a better app I think.
1 - you can’t currently follow authors you like, which is a bit annoying. It would be nice if you could follow favorite authors that you regularly read.
2 - the way the lists are set up and just the overall user interface of the app is not great. Pages will refresh and you’ll lose your spot when looking on their lists, and your lists are very hard to easily reorganize because of the way they’re set up.
3 - it would be really nice if you could say exactly why you didn’t want to read a book or why you did, if you could add in tags you like and tags you don’t manually into the algorithm somehow. I do really feel like that would improve both book recs and searches. Currently it just guesses why you don’t want to read a book when you tag it as not interested, which is unfortunate if everything about the book sounded wonderful except one small part, and so adding it to that list without a reason can mess with your algorithm.

Where Has This Been??
This is a PERFECT application for a book lover! If you are looking for similar books of one you just finished, this is the place!! It is SO EASY and quick to import all your books from GoodReads. Then you just spend hours browsing through the recommendations. The summaries and excerpts are what made me download this app. My bank account is so going to take a hit!

I wish I found this sooner!
None of my other reading apps or websites I’ve tried have ever been good at recommending books to me, but this was a game changer. I always wished a book app like this existed! The app is so easy to use, well organized, and great at categorizing books into every genre and theme you can imagine. The “not interested” feature is great too, no need to see the same book you don’t care about over and over.

Best book rec app
This right here is the best place to get recommendations and a great alternative to some less desirable apps. The recs have been so on point I have not been let down. My absolute favorite book app.
amazing app for recommendations
i love using this app/website to find similar books to ones i love or just general recommendations for my next book. it provides a brief synopsis of the book, as well as themes and tropes breakdowns. it’s very user friendly too. i’ve noticed some books missing, so i used the “contact/missing books” link to request that the book be added and they are very quick to respond!
