Freezes
I have heard so many good things about this company's apps. So I thought I would try one of the free ones first and then purchase the others if I liked the free one. Well I'm glad I saved my money since this was froze the very first time it was used. Don't bother downloading.
LOVE THIS APP!
My 2 year old loves this game she knows every vowel now! Just bought the alphabet one can't wait for her to play it!
Freezes
The app is cute and my 4 year old likes it but as others stated, it freezes A LOT.
Freezing problem

Good app
This app is fun, and does teach my son his vowels, BUT, the reward after guessing the correct vowel is just a letter moving across the screen with confetti in the background. This gets old fast. This app would get 5 stars if it had better graphics like this company's sight words and colors games do. (those two games have the thing that you guess do an actual activity after the correct thing is guessed, which is so much more fun for the child.) but still overall good app, and definitely good for repetition and learning.

Freezes constantly
Love this app when it works, but it freezes more than it works and I have to delete and load again.
Buggy
Love the Preschool Prep series and content but this app keeps freezing up
No sound
It says there's supposed to be a narrator calling out the name of the letter you're to choose, however there is none. You have to guess which one they want before it finally says the letter name. Would be a great app if they fix the sound issue.

Only 3 stars? Our 18 month old loves this
She squeals with glee when we give her the phone with any of the preschool prep apps on it. My only complaints are the blank pauses between her getting the item correct and the cheering characters, and the occasional crashes/game freezes. Whenever it crashes (which is most frequent on numbers), she has a concerned look on her face & hands me back my phone. However, we are anxiously awaiting the sight word apps.

Two thumbs up! Wonderful app and amazing videos! Can't wait for the rest!
We used these videos for our 17 month old and within a month (after just viewing it a few times) he knew all of his letters (upper and lower) and could consistantly recognize them in our every day life. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful.

This could be much better if it weren't so slow! My three year old likes it but he gets really bored bc it takes so long for the letter to change and also for the animation to start.
Great for kids just learning their letters
This app and other Preschool Prep products are great for kids just learning their letters. My son knows all his letters and the sounds they make and still loves Meet The Letters. I can't wait until the release the rest of the series for iPod.
