Used to be a Great Game
I started this game probably over a decade ago when I was starting High School and it was super addicting and great. After not playing it after a year or so I’ve come back to so many weird updates. The airport/helicopter and warehouse is horrible. The amount of stuff you need to do to build and do project is ridiculous. Unless you’re actually spending insane amounts of money on the game it’s not worth it. You use to be able to just build and create your city without a lot of fuss and that’s not possible anymore. Not to mention. with all the projects and specials taking place at any given time your screen is taken up with a bunch of nonsense not letting you see much of your screen. So sad seeing this game wither away.

Please fix this.
I played this game a long time ago. Today, I redownloaded the game, and I got put in my old save file. It has been a long time, so I looked to try to find a way to restart the game and redo the tutorial. Unfortunately, there is no way to do so. I would have played this game for at least a couple weeks if this wasn’t the case. Well designed game, I like the graphics, but no reset button.

Great game until you added war

Was favourite, now unplayable
This was my absolute favourite city building sim for years. I got to level 76 after playing for almost 6 years and have spent around £100 over that time for in-game cash. Since the newest updates, with remembering how to mine, then what is used to make what, whilst trying to remember so many items for different orders, and these HAVE to do done to earn contracts to complete anything in-game now. It’s made the game impossible for me to play, as it’s impossible to progress without completing them. The game is now just stressful, no longer fun. Very upset about this and can’t find another game I like as much. Turned into the same as the other rubbish city builders, just sending factory orders on demand, instead of able to earn coins by choice like before. Absolutely ruined your game making it unplayable for long term players.

改悪ばかりで引退
最近は特定の施設をグレードアップするために特殊資材が必要になる。今までそれらが必要ではなかった施設がある日突然アップデートと称した改悪でいきなり初期状態に戻され特殊資材が必要故に1からやり直しになる。それもワザとだろと言いたいくらい出ないか1種類だけ無駄に出て必要数が集まらない。最近はその繰り返しで資材のバリエーションばかり増やされすぐ倉庫を圧迫するので無償または有償紙幣（他所のジェムや石みたいなもの）が大量に必要になる。
また今までコンテストが開かれていた軍事施設や鉄道施設がいきなり使われなくなり長年育てた意味も無くなる。
最近iPhone17にしたが動作がカクカクしてフリーズや強制終了が多発。グラフィック性能を求められるCODやNIKKE等でもなかなか熱くならないのにグラフィックなど10年近く前から大して変わらないこのこのゲームが10分もすればすごく熱くなる。バックグラウンドで何かしてるのか？長期ユーザーだがこれ以上酷くなるなら辞める。

半年ぶりに改善された事を期待して再インストールしました。iPhone17でのカクカク事象は改善されたようですが、中身がさらに改悪され軍事、宇宙、地中探索等々、10年来積み上げてきた物が何の保証もなくアップデートと名ばかりの初期化されていたのを確認。
遂にアカウント削除申請し引退を決めました。
他所のギルド的な州の状況を見ても最早活動されている方の様子も見られず皆から愛想尽かされサ終目前に見えます。今更新たにやる意味も無いかと。
楽しかった思い出をクソみたいな改悪で汚してくれてありがとう、さようなら。

the update is absolute disaster
After the recent game update my cloud save account got forced into a retroactive mandatory beginner housing tutorial. The tutorial window locks the entire game UI completely, all buttons including close and back are disabled.
I clicked the required residential building icons hundreds of times with zero response, the tutorial interaction system is totally broken. I reinstalled the game and even logged in on PC but the forced account lock still exists.
I have literally no idea how you guys came up with such a genius idea to release such a wonderful update that ruined the whole city.

Impossible to delete your account to restart
I’ve been wanting to restart playing this game from the beginning for possibly a year or more now really but it just won’t let me. I’ve clicked on ‘delete your account’ so many times but the app restarts automatically every time you do that so even though I close it before it can fully restart I don’t know if this invalidates my request to delete the account or what. I had hoped my account had been finally deleted this time since I hadn’t opened the app in at least 3 months but no, it opened with all my saved progress. Such a pain… Why can’t we just delete our accounts by clicking on the button, then a second confirmation button and be done?
Edit: Clearly the dev didn’t read my review before answering because I know all of that and I’ve done all of that but I still have issues… Please read before answering next time. Maddening…

It once was a fun free game
Now they even stopped the free daily building gifts. The only way advancing buildings is either pay or a (very) limited amount of ads (maybe 2 a day, some days none). More new features that are very incoherent, opening new regions costs an arm and a leg. I know I shouldn’t complain since it’s a free game, but in the beginning this game was fun with a very active community. Now, it’s just a money grab. Edit: help me understand - I had the ring road fully build, and after the last update you decided to remove stuff I built already. A warning to all people who consider spending money on this game. They might just take away what you already paid for. Update (July 2026): now they also removed the Military Base. Of course, they don’t care that you spend a very long time building and updating it. DON’T PLAY THIS GAME!!!

Not worth it
This game used to be rewarding and visually appealing to play but now it has turned into a chore that takes an insurmountable amount of time to complete even the small projects in the game. Even when you’re trying to progress naturally, they heavily monetize everything to let your city build faster but the in game benefits are not even worth buying. Each update ruins a component of the game, turning it into a RNG style of leveling up to collect these “tokens” to complete a building. This game used to have a soft spot for me but it has been entirely ruined by whoever is running the team now

Oh joy a new update
Updating now…. God I hope you guys actually tested this time.. well I mean after 12 years I do not believe you do any QA, UAT, regression you just make an update push it out close your eyes and just run with the disaster. This game WAS a good game years ago
Latest update .
With the last update for the military bases . I had equipment build up for all the bases sub, aircraft, personnel carriers. It’s all gone . Have to start from scratch. That’s garbage.
It’s changing for the worse imo
I've been playing this game for over 10 years across multiple accounts, and I have to say it's been getting worse over time. It feels like every update introduces another mechanic that takes away from what made the game enjoyable.
The most recent military update is a good example. Now you need blueprints to make meaningful progress, and the only realistic way to earn them at a decent rate is by buying what is essentially a battle pass. It feels like almost every interesting or worthwhile feature is locked behind it. These systems never used to exist, and the game was better for it.
The infrastructure mechanic is another change that just doesn't add much fun. More and more, the game seems to revolve around spending real money instead of rewarding players for simply playing.
I still think it's a great game—that's why I've stuck with it for over a decade. But I really don't like the direction it's heading. I think a lot of long-time, OG players feel the same way. I just wish the developers would stop adding unnecessary monetisation and mechanics, and focus on preserving what made the game so enjoyable in the first place.

Every update is a colossal downgrade. I wish I could give it a negative star option. This is not a city building game. It is a casino with terrible odds. Thanks for being extremely greedy.
