Reading the negative reviews about the MFTs not connecting - it IS NOT designed to connect to an MFT. See Megger CertSuite app! Works great with their Bluetooth Clampmeters. Remote display and logging all works for me…..
MFT1845+ Doesn’t Bluetooth with IPhone 14 Pro Max
This app looks to perform well however when trying to connect my new MFT1845+ multifunction meter to my phone, it doesn’t find the device. I tried this on an IPhone 14 Pro Max and it doesn’t find the device at all but somehow finds and pairs to a Samsung Galaxy S10 (my partner’s phone). I don’t understand what could cause this and if it’s an issue for anyone else. I’d like to believe it functions on Apple devices considering an update 3 months ago to function on iOs 16 which is the current OS for my IPhone. There’s no online guides/forums that helps either which attributes to such a poor rating given. I’ve followed the MFT1800 series User manual provided and that doesn’t help. Any help from the team at Megger would be greatly appreciated and I would definitely reconsider the 1 star rating, if I get the chance to use this app and my meter as intended.
