Way too many ADS!!!! 😡
This app used to be my favorite. I’ve used it for many years BUT lately the amount of ads is ridiculous! Also the amount of filters that push you to need to purchase is crazy and I’ll probably delete this app soon. It’s horrible compared to what it used to be! What happened?!
Too many networks error
I love this app so much that I even subscribed to the paid version, but lately, I’ve been getting the “network error” message way too often, even when both my Wi-Fi and mobile data are working perfectly fine. It’s been happening so frequently that I can’t use important features when I need them. Please fix this issue!

BEST EDITING APP EVER
so easy to use, every feature is amazing, so many free trials to use the premium features (and there’s not even that many), the ads are only like 5 seconds and it’s only when you save a photo. i never write reviews for apps but seriously i love them 🫶
Please add more resolution options for videos!
I have used Meitu for approximately three years, and it has the best resolution quality out of all the editing platforms I have ever encountered. That being said, it significantly lacks in the depth of video resolution quality. Meitu’s “AI UHD” photo enhancer works perfectly for all images because it does not rewrite the resolution itself; it merely sharpens the quality by fixing it. And because of how advanced Meitu’s “AI UHD” resolution quality actually is… I no longer have to use any other app to fix my photos. If Meitu added in “AI UHD” resolution quality options for videos, then I guarantee more users would most definitely be using your app. I hope that maybe you will take my feedback into consideration, or at least read it. Can’t save images but only Ads!!!
Worst app ever! Gets stuck on endless ads when trying to save images. It’s not even a fraction of what it used to be anymore. Might as well call it ads player instead of photo editor.

The app is plenty of really useful and impressive photo editing tools, but the latest stuff they’ve done with AI really bogs it down. Not to mention the ads before and after every edit have become insufferable
Watch out the free trail and auto renewal
Meitu has been charging me a weekly fee of $8.49 without my permission for more than 6 months. Watch out.

New update CHANGED FILTERS
the new update changed the ORIGINAL filter quality to AI templates. When I use the glowing tan or g7x filter before it didn’t change my face…with the new update…completely changed the filters and made it AI looking and fake. They need to change it back. They are doing too much.
Ads make this app unusable now
Used to really like this app for photo editing, lots of choice of filters and beauty editing tools. Now 80% of the tools are paid and you have to watch ads when you 1) open the app and 2) when you want to save your picture. Clicking off these ads is literally impossible? The X button disappears and forces you to go to the app store of whatever trash game app they’re advertising. The user experience is just awful now. Finally uninstalled today - you’ve lost a loyal user.

free version not that useful
for the photo editing, it’s an absolute chore trying to use the app without the subscription. when you click on an editing option, it won’t tell you that it’s a VIP only feature until you’re trying to apply it. so you have to tap around every single option to find out which ones are actually free. this is incredibly annoying and turned me away from even considering the subscription. additionally, whatever happened to one-time purchases? why does this app need an expensive subscription for basic features? i would reconsider coming back to this app if they unlocked more options on the free version, or offered a reasonably priced one-time purchase, but until then i’m out

Problem after Updated
I love this app, but I just updated it to the latest version. And the adding text tool is not working. It exit me out all the time. I can’t add any text right now.
Functions not working
Multi-person function is messed up, doesn’t let me select my face (every time it’s selected my face, the filters go to other people in the picture = =)

This app probably been the best app I use for editing my photos for my camera roll, definitely recommend!

Every action requires watching an ad. The ai features are so slow. It takes forever to process a single image. Batch processing is completely useless.
